I hope all is well with everyone and I wish you a blessed day, Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.

Yay! Glad you are home, but I bet those furbabies are the happiest! They will know you are "under the weather" and will take care of you!

Glad to hear Richard is doing better! One day at a time and by Fall I hope he'll be feeling fine.

Our furbabies can't wait for real Fall. It was over 80 at dawn this AM, is 102 now and still rising. We do our morning walks before dawn until well into Fall, which doesn't really happen here until about Oct. 1. Hope everyone is going to enjoy milder weather soon - I think Fall is the best season ever.

And if you live in Florida I really hope you're battened down!

Glad things are improving, Richard. I'm sure the furbabies are aiding in your recovery.

I'd like to ask everyone to pray for the people in the path of this hurricane. MetalGator, I hope you are out of harm's way. Our son and his family live in Melbourne, Florida. They are not in an evacuation zone and will not be fleeing unless they are told too. Their house is concrete an he has hurricane shutters on every window and across the lanai. He has reduced his pool level. They will make sure his MIL and her 2 dogs are safe as well. She cannot leave as she is on kidney dialysis. He is as prepared as he can be. They are about 5-7 miles inland with the barrier islands and Merritt Island between them and the coast. Praying they stay safe.

Thanks, all.

We are on the West coast of Florida so unless the storm doesn't turn, we should be fine. This storm is scary as it is barely moving. Only moving 3mph and is sitting on top of the Bahamas. They said the Freeport area will have the storm basically sitting on top of it for 24 hours. The damage will be devastating.

Now they are saying it's moving at 1 mph. . . you can walk faster than the hurricane. Insane! It's too bad they can't turn on a big fan and move that sucker out to sea. May be waiting a week or more for this thing to go through. Hope you stay clear of it, Burch.

Wish everyone in Florida to be safe. We won't see any of it where we are. Maybe it will go out to sea and not do too much damage.

Good morning everyone. It's a beautiful here at Camp Dixie. The first thing I did this morning was to get rid of the catheter, now to wait and see if I am truly free from it.

The news from the coast is high winds and possible flooding. Prayers going up for all the folks along the East Coast.

I wish everyone a blessed day. Be sure to give the fur babies a hug for me and be sure to tell someone you love them.
