Hello folks I'm back after along hiatus after a battle with throat cancer. Thank God I'm cured. The doctors never said anything about remission they just said your cured. Anyway after 3 class a coaches, 2 fivers and a class c, I just jumped into a b+ Holiday Rambler Augusta 29 with a ford v10.Its a 2009 with 14k. looks brand new. I'm not too familiar with these units so if there is anything I should know about these units I would appreciate any imput. Thanking you in advance[emoticon]

Sounds like great news about your cancer being cured. Also congratulations on your purchase of a Holiday Rambler Augusta 29. I believe that your Holiday Rambler may have started life in the R-Vision Trail-Lite plant. I know several years ago, R=Vision motorhome division was having problems and was sold to Monoco. Then Holiday Rambler (a Monoco subsidiary) started producing some of the previous R-Vision Trail-Lites. Not sure which floor plans, but I remember seeing a Holiday Rambler and the floor plan was identical to a Trail-Lite 211. Also saw one identical to the Trail-Lite 235. I don't know how long they continued that. There are quite a few contributors to this topic that either own a Trail-Lite or have owned one.

I have a brochure from Holiday Rambler showing the 29PBT floorplan and a brochure from Trail-Lite showing the 293TS and they are identical. Do you have a floorplan of your Holiday Rambler?

We have a 2011 Monaco Montclair which is a sister company of Trail-Lite. Looking at the interior and exterior pictures of a 2009, it is identical to ours. We have had a lot of issues with ours right from the get go. The latest is our out side step malfunction. I had to buy a new motor and main gear and then pay to have some one install it. The warrantee is only 1 year. I don't know the amount of problems others have had with other manufacturers, so I can't compare. Most early on issues were under warranty and Monaco took care of them without hesitation. I am also having problems with oil consumption, but that is not Monaco's problem. Hopefully all the bugs have already be taken care of. Good luck

Our side step quit working suddenly....turned out to be some kind of electronic board-controller thing. "Only" $200 plus install.

I'm beginning to see similarity with boating as a shape in the water you keep filling with money....only with RVs there's not as much water.

I need a taillight lens for my 2007 HR 213. There are no Monaco dealers anywhere close to me. Where can I get a repacement?
