Hi everyone, my name is Ashley and I'm the proud owner of a new to me 2007 Augusta Sport RV. It's in good shape except for the dull front above the cab. What steps do I need to take to bring the shine back? How can I attach photos? Thanks Ashley |

Looks like your overhead cab is fiberglass. Rub it out with some good marine rubbing compound, then polish it. Best to do it with a random orbit buffer. Put the best wax you can find for fiberglass. I use 3M for rubbing compound and polish. Meguiar's for fiberglass wax. 2004 Gulf Stream Endura 6340 D/A SOLD 2012 Chevy Captiva Toad SOLD

Congrats Ashley, enjoy the coach. My cap also got dull, partly because access to the entire thing is so bad. Ron's advice is spot on, but don't beat yourself if you are not invited to a Concours.

If it's really dull, you may need to wet sand it with #600 paper, then heavy duty rubbing compound, then polish. I found the best way to access it is with a folded 8' step ladder leaning in the edge above the side view mirrors on each side. It really is tough to get at. I also use a heavy-duty machine polisher as the orbital just didn't cut it. ---------------------- 2001 Trail Lite B+ 211 |

Ashleyz - Congratulations on your purchase. You might already know this, the RVision Trail-Lite motorhome division was sold to Monoco who had or has a subsidiary called Holiday Rambler. They started producing some of the floor plans formerly done by RVision. Check "view profile" and you will see that my cab-over is the same as yours.![]() As to your picture size, you can go back and edit your posting and set the pixel width to 450.
