Messed w/ stuff several hours today. Attched new line amp to inside cabinet next to batwing Green LED and ran an extension cord and antenna coax into top shelf of our modified cabinet where the big tube was sitting as OEM. Trying to get these two wires to act as one cord attached to new 19” TV. All we need to do is open the cabinet door, pick up TV lying face down on thick blanket, place it on aisle edge of made up dinette table, hang ‘cord’ from cabinet knob above dinette, almost close cabinet door, and sit on sofa for comfy view of eye level TV. If you followed the thread I linked to a few posts ago, you will see that the TV can deliver stations from 70+ miles away. Woohoo! 2005 Trail Lite 213 B-Plus w/ 6.0 Chevy

Glad this worked out Burl. It must have been a frustrating thing up till now.
Currently RV-less but not done yet. |

Years ago I had an old eye exam chair fixed up for my initial home computer unit. The monitor was small & my vision was limited, so I set the monitor up on one of the swing arms to get it real close to my face, while another had the key board. Too heavy/large for RV but today there's much better equipment to solve similar problems.

Another Magoo on the forums! My problem is a form of retinitus pigmentosa which has gradually gotten a bit worse over 50 sone years. Me and my 2 older sisters had it at birth.

Maybe it's best I never could get a license. And, I never have to be the designated driver! * This post was edited 12/06/13 03:58pm by burlmart * |

Been reading thru B+ first posted tioga vs trail lite 251 on class c forum. tommorrow we are going to pick up the Trail-Lite 251. A friend of mine sell rvs and showed us the tioga. My wife wanted a smaller unit she could feel comfortable driving. But even @ 2005 and 26,000 the tioga had a little moisture in the front bunk. As luck would have it a 2006 251 trail-lite was available for a little less money, and @ 23,000 miles kept in heated storage since new and only 7 hrs on the generator, it was a no brainer to go for the trail-lite. I was a little apprehensive about the fact taht they are no longer produced but I think I am over that. We are going from a pop up w/ slide out to this motor home and are excited. Reading this thread helped our decision. Thanks, we will keep you posted |
