I cannot see the backing. but in a spot where the TPO is not glued, something made me once think it was feltish. I think its finish could be described as 'textured' as best I recall. I have a sample of EPDM, but a comparison of the textures somehow did not settle my question. And knowing R-Vision switched to TPO in my model year raises questions as well. The is no problem with the roof, in any case. 2005 Trail Lite 213 B-Plus w/ 6.0 Chevy

Where are all the Trail-Lite motorhome owners? This thread was a "hot topic" for many months (years). Any new buyers of these discontinued units won't have a clue that this thread exists. I spent some money on new tires for my unit. Cost right at $1,000 for six (6) new Firestone Transforce HT (load range E) mounted and balanced and old tires disposed of. The installer told me that he had never seen such old tires in that good of shape - no weather cracking or uneven wear. They had not spent that much of their life in the hot sun. I just felt that now was the time to replace. 2002 Trail-Lite Model 211-S w/5.7 Chevy (click View Profile) Gene |

Gene, What type balancing? Our 6 Load Range E Uniroyal Laredos were $1100. We got 4 tire covers to block some sun rays. After spending $ on the rig which we do not use as much as at first, we decided to bring it in closer to home and save the off-dite rent ($720/yr), and hopefully use it more since it is handier. Story and pics. About our Trail Lites, on a recent thread about the new 24 ft Triple E Regency GT B+ (2012 model vid), I was very pleased to see that while our economy B+ rigs lack many fine touches that Triple E includes, the overall functionality of the rigs is VERY comparable. Take the Murphy bed for instance. Our TL 213 is 22.7 ft long, yet during the day we have a living space with sofa and dinette/sofa, while at night these make into a super size king bed. The Murphy bed in the 24 ft Triple E is a queen. Don't get me wrong, the Unity is a FINE example of B+ Motorcoach, but as a standard to aim for, at least functionality-wise, our TL is right there with it. * This post was edited 10/24/11 06:16am by burlmart * |

Hi haven't posted in ages. As you've said this used to be a very active thread on the Trail Lite B+s. We still have and use our 2003 211s. It's the only camper we have now. Unfornutately for many reasons didn't get to use it much this summer. Usually take it to Florida with us towing our car but bought a new car this spring and haven't set it up for towing so this winter the Trail Lite will stay home and the car will take us south. We have a 30 ft TT stored in the RV park we go to. Regards, Reno
