This is Dottie a little over one year ago, a week after we got her from the Humane Society. She is a Hurricane Katrina Survivor. She came with a large group of puppies of many breeds. She turned out to be a Border Collie.

I never thought I could love a dog as much as I love Dottie. She is like my daughter (I have 2 teenage boys). She is unbelievably intelligent.

Since I'll probably be talking a lot about my boys, you might as well see what they look like:

This is Lymon a Cinnamon Yellowhead Indian Ringneck. Named Lymon because in perfect conditions his head is lemon yellow and his back and wings are lime yellow/green.
