I still camp in tents at 72 because it is not possible to drive to the really good places.

God I hope I'm gonna have enough health to camp at 72, it already feels rough at 32 sometimes! Only 40 years to go I guess

Tent camping in bear country

Has anyone camped in Ridgeway State Park or Crawford State Park in Colorado? I have never camped in bear country. I don't know if these places are in bear country. Instead of driving my class A 2 days out and 2 days back I wondered if I could take my convertible ( with small tag-a-long trailer) and tent camp.

I really enjoy camping in Europe. The nature is so beautiful. You can rent a motorhome and travel to different countries. I recommend it.

Just returned from a great camping trip in CA on the Tahoe National Forest. There was no one out there during the week at the height of tourist season. Beautiful forest and a great trip.
