AGI aquired "Camping Life Magazine" a little while ago along with its forum. The forum was not a very busy one to my knowledge and it was decided to incorporate it here so that we did not have to administer two different sites.
Camping Life has now been redirected here.

I think a lot of us began our adventures as tent campers. Most will have some information and hints to share. The tent campers can surely benefit from many of our Forum Topics.

I think it's a great idea! Welcome tent campers! We tent camped for ten years!

Surprised we haven't had a tent section before. Like it was said, we all started in tents and graduated to TT or MH's as we got older and the ground got harder

We had three tents before graduating to a pop up. The most recent tent was purchased at the begining of 2004. Now we've got a fifth wheel. But we still have the tent.

I keep saying with a tent, it's camping. With a pop-up, it can be camping. With anything else, you're rving. But no matter what you've got, it's fun!

Welcome tenters!

I like this forum. Thanks for having it. Even though most of my camping is with my TT, I still enjoy tent camping.

Started tent camping with GSA at age six, loved it. Got me a pop-up in the 70's. Now at age 60 I'm back to tents. Planning to get me a big RV to live in and keep tenting (with my big air mattress) on my days off. Enjoy reading all the comments. Happy New Year.

We incorporate boating & tenting!
Our favorite location is a pristine 7800 acre lake in northeastern, NH. We load the boat with our gear and stay on island campsites administered by NH Parks. No noisey neighbors, except the loons and coyotes, and the best smallmouth bass fishin' in New England!

Even though we have an RV, we still tent camp sometimes. There are just places it's not easy or impossible to get an RV to.

[emoticon]

"Camping Life" is a neat publication. I have subscribed for several years now and I find it worth while. It covers a lot more info on small TT's, pop-ups and class "C's" than the other RV publications, along with camping information and gear. [emoticon]
