I bought it at Kmart. Can't remember how much it was, but the bottle I bought treats 48 gallons. The bf's brother had bottles that were twice that size.

He drilled out the accelerator nozzles, finding the tip online somewhere.

a few posts back someone was asking about weighing the rigs.
I have weighed my MH, last year, they have the steer axle and drive axle flipped in the first pic.
weight is full of gas, empty fresh/grey/black tanks. normal silverware pots/pans etc stuff inside

this one is completely loaded and pulling trailer

here is the pic loaded. keep in mind it looks like the bumper is almost dragging but that is the grade of the driveway as it starts a ramp just after the rear tires

Looks like you are in about the same position I'm in what's the rated GVW on your MH? What's under the hood?

Mad respect for the old monsters. Hate the new stuff looks like junk to me. I had a 1975 American Clipper (Dodge Sportsman chassis) I recently sold I loved her but she had major electrical issues so I took her to a major dealership to fix and 4 thousand later she turned out worse than originally so after a major fight I was rembursed all money and i had such a negative experence they sold her. Instead I purchased a 1986 NuWa 5th wheel (no motor electric to worry about) and although she lacks the 70's groove muscle she sure makes up for it in 80's charm and besides a few bumps she works well.

Phontom59: 10,500 is my GVW so I was 40lbs away..to close for comfort. I have a 360. top end has been redone along with rebuilt 2barrel carb. my buddy has the big block, I have no issues keeping up with him until we get to the hills then I loose him and loose about 10mph up a hill

Aida: yeah sunburst as my wife calls her, keeps on ticking, last year was new rear springs, brake lines, front and rear bilstien shocks, new tires, new steering stabilizer. this year was new front pads and front wheels bearings and along with an exhaust leak. she is really starting to ride like a new one. at this point I got way more then I could ever get out, but it's a labor of love not and investment

I'll add my 1977 Harvest 440/727. An 8 wheeler Class C? It's a 6 wheeler with a tag! (Edit: I can't count before coffee! Just came back to change the 4 to and 8)hehe :/

The poor thing is awaiting a new floor inside. I'll have to pull the "lunch meat" press board up and put down 5/8ths plywood I have. I know carpet makes it quieter, but I'm installing the wood-lam anyway. Mom is hard of hearing and I love wood! And yes, I fixed all the roof leaks :/

Only a couple problems keeps it house bound this summer. It developed a rare fuel leak at the sending unit. Upon telling the friend I bought it from, he said that his kids would take the sending unit out and siphon gas out of it! They couldn't get past the block he had in the filler neck, so they just took the 6 screws out of the tank. Needless to say, they stripped the dang threads. It's getting a pick-yer-part tank soon.

The only other problem I know of is the power steering pump front seal is gone. You fill it up and it pours out in the first 8-10 miles or so, then it's back to "grunt" steering lol.

It has about 100K and purrs like a kitten. I actually drove it 50 or so miles before obtaining it. This fella owed me about $600. His mom was going to tow it off her ranch in the mountains, claiming it wont start because someone took the key switch out of the dash. I intercepted it by clearing his debt with me. Not a bad investment considering I'd probably never have seen the money. I went up and put a hot wire on the coil, put a screw driver on the starter screws and away we went (I just love mountain roads with no power steering)!

That's odd my dodge is the same chassis as yours but is only listed as 9k. I know what you mean about having more in it than its worth mine is almost completely rebuilt. The engine is the 360 but it's been bored with a cam, aluminum intake and headers. I will try to post a link to the photobucket page with pictures of what I've done when I get home.
BTW nice MH where did you find that hood? Did you do anything to reinforce the frame extension behind the rear springs?
