This has probably been asked a few times on this thread..... Does any one here drive their Dodge with the furnace running? Thanks,

Furnace? No. The dash heat puts out more than enough.

Generator and AC unit? Yup.

Not typically since it's usually the middle of summer, but on the rare occasion when it's been cold enough.

I have a couple of times. Didn't have any problems til I ran out of propane [emoticon] in 20 deg. weather crossing the Rocky's in Feb. My dash heater wasn't working at the time (bad switch) either [emoticon].

When I get mine fixed and on the road I will run the furnace when driving in the winter, There should not be any danger in this.

Does anyone know if it is legal to run your external generator while driving?

I'm not sure where you're at, but AZ says nothing... YMMV

Kentucky has no such law.

I'm on board, purchased my 78 Overland on Saturday, and in the week since have tuned the 48K 440 to purring perfection, smogged and tagged it, and got all the lights functioning. Runs like a dream, and pulls like an ox! Now on to the reconstruction of the coach section.

My issue is I'd like to replace the 16.5's with something a bit more modern, and I'm having trouble with who fits what.

I'm sure my answer is here somewhere.....someone.....anyone????

peace to all, rvrdrnnr

Sorry, I cannot answer your question. Enjoy your RV though!
