Thanks LeeAnn, My house battery is in a side compartment on the passenger side about 1/2 way back. Thats why I was wondering how you tapped into the power.... I guess I could run a line back to the firewall and tie it together that way somehow.... thinking maybe just get a nice battery operated cd player and let it go at that.... Thanks again, A. I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

ALnCory, Your house battery normally will have a cable going to the isolator which is located under the hood. So, you should be able to tap off of the side of the isolator that is always connected to the house battery. |

ALnCORY wrote: ![]() Looks good Eye,,, so when you added the switch for house power to your stereo where did you pull the power from? I like the idea of being able to run the stereo off of house power and I wired speakers to the coach but was wondering where you pulled the power from and how you wired it all up. Nice job, it looks very comfy. A. I kinda lucked out in my case. I realized during the summer when I had my engine out, that when put back together, the radio still had the right time. I realized the power for the original radio was run off the house battery... The on power I had tapped off the ignition. So I simply split the power that was already there and ran the split to the toggle switch. |

Thanks TREESEEKER, I have seen that. I imagine I can figure out which line is going to the house... I may have to look into that next year when I start working on stuff again. I have my coach battery out and in the basement for the winter. |

AlnCory, Don't forget to put a fuse in the circuit. Very important! I have been meaning to make this modification myself. |

Well, I think I have all the bad wood out of the roof system now. I now have a great skylight!!! Here is a pic of the open roof. The wall on the right side of the pic will need some repair yet. The top plate is rotted for about two feet and the bottom for almost the full lenght will need work.
