Open the access panel on the outside of your rig. Near the bottom should be an approximately 1" white or black nylon plug, plugging up a hole (that you use to drain the water heater for winter).

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

Ok all, I had my name changed, I am still an RVnoob, but didnt want to stay on the forums with that name. So, dont forget who I am lol. BTW, is there anyone with one of these type RVs in or around the Albemarle/Richfield, NC area? I would like to try and find someone around here that I could possibly get together with to help me with some of the issues and learning phases I am going through. Feel free to pm or email me. Thanks alot. Now off to change the thermostat and start checking out the water system. Will be back again later on today. Nice looking rig AlnCory! Sam 76 Dodge Leprechaun Getting started. |

AlnCory, The interior looks great! One thing I wonder about. I don't see any cooking appliances--no stove, no oven, no microwave. Do you not ever cook or just only on a BBQ? |

chinook, thanks we tried to blend it the best we could... started with the fabric we found on sale at Joann fabric and built it from there... TreeSeeker,, The stove and range hood were toast so we tossed them... we talked about just putting in a 2 burner stove but in the end opted for counter space. We just cook outdoors on our camp stove, it keeps the inside from getting greased up etc. I may put in a microwave eventually. In talking to people I knew that had RV's most of them said the only thing they did with the stove was heat water for coffee, and my little propane stove does that just fine. The thing I always liked about camping was cooking outside and having a campfire,,, I just couldn't sleep in a tent anymore so this way I have a bed and still cook outside... |

Al, that looks great! Yes, fabric is the best place to start. I love your countertop, too. I did the same --picthed the stove and range hood, went with a 3-burner & convection microwave. The space freed up without that oven is amazing. Now, follow this link and tell me why I'm crying. http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/rvs/1388423830.html |

We spend so much time in our old dodge, at the track and such... we've actually made used out oven making casseroles and pizzias. (The pizzia for some reason was decidedly tasty) It's almost October, and we've been camping every weekend since April... I'm not looking forward to putting it away in a month or so...

^^ oh, man is that nice... We've made pizza in our oven, too...and it's really, really good (not to mention it makes noses around us start to sniff!). We have one last trip in ours this year, in 3 weekends, and I'm not looking forward to putting her away, either. |
