I think I ordered more than I need, if this is the case I might have enough of it to put a lining in it to make thermal curtains for the over the cab bunk.

Perfect - that'll come in handy.

I had (a lot of )extra material and used it for the curtain between the cab and living area. It originally was just a shower curtain and it gave it a good look.

Thats a good idea goreds.... don't know if we have enough left but will check it out....

got my rig back from my mechanic buddy last night. tranny is gone through and doesn't leak, new muffler, tuned it up(runs much smoother) power steering works again, new brake cylinder, some other small stuff and.... he resurrected my air conditioner, it hadn't been run in well over 10 yrs(per PO) but the pump was still good, and its blowing ice cold now... my wife is very!! happy
Now on to finishing the inside refurbish, new floors, toilet, cushions, stereo etc etc...... if I hurry still time to get in some camping this fall.

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere!

Al, do you know what he did to fix your power steering? Mine doesn't work either, but it makes no noise...

She ain't purdy, but at least she's slow!

power, the problem with mine was a leak in a line somewhere.. I had filled it and it just ran out the front end. I could never see exactly where it was but I think all he had to do was replace a fitting or part of the line or something. Pump evidently still worked. Anyway sure is nice to drive now... need to replace the shocks to take some of the rocking out but it sure handled easier when I wasn't fighting the steering.

I think mine is the pump. I am waiting for the buyer of my Charger to come get it (he paid for it in May, in full!) so I'll have more room to work. I'll just change the pump and see if that helps.

I still have to get the new cam, lifters, and timing gear in too...

OK, my next problem... I have a uni-tank that I thought I would be able to patch up and make it work. After futher thought and evaluation I think I will be money ahead to just replace the tank and dump valve, fittings etc. So I am looking for advise from anyone who has done this. Best place to find a replacement tank, any tricks you have learned to take off the old and put on the new. The inflow from my kitchen sink, shower area looks to be very hard to get at and I don't know how the bath sink drain attach, as that just goes through the floor in a closet, serves as the vent also. I assume when you pull the toilet that connection is a screw in type like in my house? Anywho thanks in advance for any advise.
Also, I have some new seats out of a dodge caravan but the base in the motorhome is smaller than the caravan seats. Has anyone ever changed these type of seats out and did you have to build a new base or what did you do?

Yep.
Al, do a search. Leeann fixed her tanks last summer.

Seats --I did that.
Pull one out. Take the existing seat off and save the wooden base that it screws onto before it screws onto the swivel base.
Take the base off the minivan seat. Make sure you line it up where you want it on the wooden (or whatever base), then drill new holes and screw it on.
Put the whole thing on your swivel base -done.
