While my rig is very different, when we had water between passenger seat and the sofa behind it, it was a leak where the awning was lag screwed into the rubber roof, The water ran down in the wall and out onto the carpet. Caught it early, and Dicor caulk fixed it. You may spray carpet w/ Lysol if it was real wet.

Love the Shorty rig in the profile!

Thanks, I will check around.

Kendas,
Well I sit here watching it snow 4 inches again (had 4-5 yesterday). So I am wishing I was in Tucson helping you install your new toy. Spring is coming though.... and I can't wait.

I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere!

Al, It's in and running... Hardest part was putting the grommet back in the firewall after I added the charger wires to it.

TreeSeeker, If it lasts 18 months then it cost me just over buck a day and I'll buy something else. If it lasts a month, I send it Vector for replacement (yep, I sent in the warranty card).

Well my old Dodge will have a Toad this friday, well ready to be "Toad". Wife's '99 Cherokee. The old Mopar and the 21 year younger Mopar. I just hope the dodge's brakes are strong enough.

Who else tow's 3,200 lbs with there Dodge 360 V-8 motorhome.

I would consider a brake controller - seriously. That way, the Cherokee helps brake instead of adding to the brake load, plus I think it's required in most (if not all) states.

Just to keep the winter doldrums off my back... Here's a few more updates to my remodeling I should have taken a while back. But at the time, I was too busy camping. [emoticon]

Applied the formica tot he bathroom counter. Not bad for my fist time doing a countertop.

The shower area... finally found a covering I could live with. I have one more little wall section to build, but it's 85% done... first job next spring.

^^ Counter looks great as does the shower. I think I am going to do our whole bath room with that same stuff as the "water" proof wall paper in there is pealing.

Leeann, MH is now wired for a brake controller and will have one in there. Have you looked at the cost of the braking systems for a Toad. In michigan the wieght that legally Toad brakes are required is 3500 lbs, best I can tell, so at 3200 if the MH stops it, down the road I will go.

overdrive: No, I haven't looked into that cost. Sometimes you can get them on Craigslist and eBay for much less.

Our race trailer weighs under 2000 lbs, so I don't have to worry about it. Our rig did come with an old (I really do mean OLD) Tekonsha controller wired up, but we've never needed it. And the 'new' race trailer we're building has surge brakes, so...

eyeteeth - looks great! I need to do the same, since my butt-ugly bathroom wallpaper is also peeling.

Nice job Eye, if anything your shower looks even better than mine. Good job on the counter especially if that is your first trip down that road. Keep us posted on the updates...
