Cool! I'm glad you got that figured out and fixed. I hate leakage issues - they can be pretty difficult to figure out. I don't know about the Suburban, but the Coleman is something like 3-4 screws and pull out the whole thing (except the shell). Makes it pretty easy to remove and reinstall. Great news eye,,, I knew I had a leak around my roof vent for the vent pipe. When I got up there last week to replace it I noticed that the cargo rail was so loose on a couple of places that it had to be leaking so I just pulled it off and patched the holes, never use the thing anyway. I hope that fixes the last of the leaks but I am sure there will be another pop up somewhere.
I don't think anyones dying statement ever contained the words "I wish I had spent more time in the office", so lets go somewhere! |

Here is my XM satellite Radio temp. setup until I puchase a stereo for "SHORTY". I have the XM MyFi connected to the XM3020 boombox plugged into a battery power pack on the floor. It works for now as it was fine while camping last week. ![]() This antenna setup is spotty as I am going to have to place on the roof or close to the roof. I am not sure there is even any metal up there. Velcrow may have to be used. ![]() |

goreds - there are antennas for XM and Sirius made for truckers, kinda like a CB antenna 'cept it has a pod on top. I got mine from Amazon and have it mounted next to my CB antenna (see my profile pic). No magnet mount needed and it's permanently installed (plus the wire is run through the dash). |

I looked at your profile picture. (By the way, I like the MH retro look such as yours) Is your satellite antenna next to your door mirror or in the middle above the roof? Thanks, Here is what I found on Amazon which I like alot. Thanks for the suggestion. http://www.amazon.com/Terk-XM4-CLIP-Truck-Satellite-Antenna/dp/B000167KQA/ref=sr_1_37?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1222885555&sr=8-37#moreAboutThisProduct http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FCP1P2/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top#moreAboutThisProduct Here is something else I may consider: http://www.myradiostore.com/mounts-brackets-tools/truck-marine-mounts/xm-micro-antenna-mount-srb-mm.html * This post was edited 10/01/08 12:39pm by goreds2 * |

Yep, that's the one. I'm pretty sure mine's a Terk as well. I bought the permanent (sorta) mount one so I could be sure to get reception no matter where I was, trees and all. And it works really well. Thanks ![]() |

LeeAnn, I was looking at your rig also... are you carring 2 spares on the back? One for the front and one for the rear?. different rims? Just curious, mine has the spare mounted on the back as well. It has a front style rim. |
