Crazymoparguy what kind of mpg do you get with that small block and how is it in the big hills.

I get 12mpg from what I can tell if I'm driving nice, which isn't often.. my 440 class A was getting 8mpg from my calculations though, if that!

I have nooooo troubles up hills whatsoever, 360, Comp Cams .480 lift hyrdaulic roller, ported heads, M1 intake, Edelbrock 600, 1 3/4" headers and 3" single exhaust with two 3" Flowmaster 50s in series, one after the other.
4.10 gears are the drawback, but my tires are fairly tall.

I was keeping up with a large herd of Harleys through the Hope-Princeton highway, they cornered me at a gas station just to ask what I had in it, they couldn't believe they were passing traffic up hills with a motorhome stuck up their butt! hahaha

My wheels.

I got this 69 Travco with split rims that really need replaced --or will, might as well do it now. Why buy 14 tires when 7 will do?

On May 1st, I ordered 7 solid rims from Stockton Wheel.
Website said they were 139 ea, raw steel. OK.
Nope, Stockton says they are 164. ea, painted + 34.50 shipping each.
Then Stockton said "$25 fee just 'cause."
Then Stockton said "pre-paid."

On May 2d, I gave Stockton Wheel (through the dealership, who is NOT at fault for any of this) $1461-and-change.

Stockton's salesman (Frank) said "4 to 6 weeks" that same day.
Not happy, but hey, I understand they probably don't have 6-bolt Travco rims just laying around.

Wednesday, June 4th,Randy (tire dude) called me.
I was delighted, figured my wheels had come.

NOPE.

Stockton said "another month."

I am NOT happy.

Stockton Wheel has the absolute worst reputation for delivering what they promise. They are the subject of discussion on many other automotive sites.

Hi Guys !
need some advice.
I have a 1976 Landau M500 on a dodge chassis. The parking brake is a driveshaft type and it doesn't grab. Do they still make parts for these brakes ? need a new wire
