Woohooo! I'm in (finally) ![]() Now if only I could recover all the stuff posted over at WMTC....heck (oh, and you do have to be a member to see the photos over there). Now I have to organize my stuff to start posting (dangit). Gary, I'm asking the bf for any clues on your AC now - get back to you in a bit. Way cool. Griff, you post the pictures, I'll be along directly. Someone sent me a whole allpar.com section on the 318-A, I feel the need to read. Abandon this thread? No way....... |

Gary - bf says look at switches. He says it's fairly uncommon, but if the heater fan runs and AC fan doesn't, that's more than likely the issue. Check fuses first, but then check switches. The wiring diagram should be in the Chassis manual...backtrace from there. |

LeeAnn, I looked at it Sat....replaced fuse, it was blown, but still nothing. I'll look at the schematic and try to hot wire the switch, see it it blows. Thanks for the tip....... ![]() Gary Webb Phoenix, AZ ![]() |

Finally got the grey tank dropped. Remember it was spililng from somewhere when I turned left. I didn't see anything from underneath, and had already been doing a ton of repairs so I thought I would replace it. Good Call. No repairing this one. It was split across the top from one side clear over to the other. If I really wanted to, I could have stuck my hand into it. Good news. It appears they still make the same tank. And I now know it is 34 gallons. As I continue to pull the back end out. I'm thinking of buying a resperator. An hour or two in there, and I can barely breath, it feels like something scraping my lungs from the inside. Clears up after 5-6 hours. But I figure it can't be good. I'm close to the point of no turning around... I think I'm already in over my head, but we'll see. I have the toilet out, the grey tank removed, the and the bunks out along with a few misc. wall peices. next I have to start removing the fresh water tank, the water heater, and the water pump. Any one need a water pump? I bought one that I think was too strong... too many GPM. I want one with lesser flow. Anyway, that's the update. I should be taking more pictures. |

Been wearing mine since I started inside the Big Box. eyeteeth wrote: ![]() I'm close to the point of no turning around... think I'm already in over my head... Nope, eyeteeth, you "have been* in over your head. As are we all... My particular point of no return just got tarped for the night. eyeteeth wrote: ![]() Any one need a water pump? Hardly anyone would ever have to "buy" anthing, we'd just trade for whatever and end up driving bits of each others' rigs. * This post was edited 10/07/07 06:54pm by Trish Davis * |

Well the Hot Wire worked...I jumped across the switch and fan started right up...I'm going to take this out and see if I can repair it, but may be in search of one........ ![]() I like the idea of swapping parts...I may be interested in that water pump eyeteeth, was looking for one for a "Live Well" in my boat... This pump is like 3.7 or 3.9 gpm. Designed (IMHO) for newer... larger RV's. I've done mostly dry camping thus far, and even in the shower, find myself barely turning the knobs. Just seems to be using more water than necessary.

Ha Ha, I like Trish's comment that we are all in over our head. I sure know I feel that way most of the time. All those self help guru's say to step out of your comfort zone though, so thats what I am doing I guess,, getting uncomfortable... feels real good though when I get something fixed or cleaned up that has been neglected. Do believe this little C Mohomer is gonna give me all the challenge I feel like..... have fun ya'll.... Al
