No, your suggestion was a good one ... and I'd say the contest is still on. GCCMP will remain a separate section ... I'm talking about adding more sections, which will need names.

If enough people are onboard for this, I'll set up an email listserver so we can discuss things among ourselves and exchange links to draft pages.

I don't want to clutter up this thread too much with this topic/suggestion so please PM me.

Just a small correction to your info Leeann: The F3 is for the MB300 cut-away van which is pretty much the same as the B300 except possibly for suspension parts and--of course--the body behind the cab! [emoticon]

Probably Warren, Ohio, the plant where it was built.

Been staying busy all weekend...we have the entire cab interior stripped, except some of the dash. Will start sanding the rusty floor tomorrow!

Any suggestions on troubleshooting my oil pressure gauge?
It stopped completely last week.

BTY, Cenote is an F30 also!
And a "C that thinks it is a B."
Built on a cut away chassis, but not much bigger than a B, with no over cab bunk.

First, check to make sure the wire is still clipped to the sensor ... it's real easy to accidentally pop the wire off.

The sensor should look like this.

Do you have a multimeter? You should be getting a variable amount of resistance from the sensor, depending on the amount of pressure. I'll have to do a bit of research before suggesting how to test the gauge so I don't tell you something that fries the gauge. (Sensor is just a variable resistor and you won't be putting any significant juice to it to test the ohms.)

If it's the gauge, I may have a spare one laying around.

If it's the sensor, I recommend a slick upgrade Leeann and I found. The new Dodge vehicles use a dual oil pressure sensor that drives both a gauge and an idiot light. Two kinds of warning, double the safeguard against engine damage.

Leeann should have all the part numbers, including a source for an OEM pigtail to fit the newer sensor. (I had the info but lost it when I deleted all my browser bookmarks ... )

Well, it was finally dry enough (and I had the gumption to actually do it), so I installed my new fuel pump in the rig Saturday. New steel and rubber lines, too. It was one of those really simple jobs that took most of the day![emoticon]

Maybe I should have had a beer or 20, then it'd have been done faster! [emoticon]

Now onto the tuning, perhaps tonight...

Trish, ONE MORE DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She ain't purdy, but at least she's slow!

Yep... and that day is TODAY.

Hell NO, I'm not packed. No clothes (well, some...) but tools, fluids, fuses, test lights, extra old fuel line of different diameters (use it instead of vacuum line, lasts longer), my blankie.
Camera *and* camera phone, couple emergency-come-get-me-it-broke numbers.
Any my Greyhound ticket.

I will yell at y'all Wednesday.
Bye.........
