Yea... I've been wanting to put flames on mine for fun. That and the horn from the Dukes of Hazzard.

Bought it tonight,sight unseen.
1 owner (family), valves replaced with the hardened ones, rr end and trans been rebuilt (by the son /brother), 3-yr old tires, ALL the lights work, it doesn't discharge (or not charge at all), it went to the UP and Tenn. last summer. Stove and oven work, I forget if the fridge does. Has a generator. Dunno about the furnace and don't care, really.

It does have a crack in one of its windshields. Thank goodness this is Ohio and they dont' get wild over stuff like that. Whee! Oh... was that too enthusiastic? ;-)

I want stainless wheel covers, they look so cool.

I was thinking Hi-Lo toned brass trumpet horns.
Got them on the Merc, they'll put the fear of whatever god you choose to worhsip into you.

Make sure they're grounded real good, because when they stick "on," they'll also blow your eardurms out. I wouldnt' know this ..personally. Just heard it. Eh? What you say?

Oh, god....fire-engine red rims on an apple-green RV - and with wide whitewalls?.....you are gonna get some STARES!

Of course, chrome lug nuts. As soon as you put those whitewalls on, though, you're gonna want to paint the white on the RV back white.... [emoticon]

From the picture it looks to be a decent unit. I like the fiberglass bodies, and I dig the styling of the Travcos. There needs to be, probably already is, a Classic Motorhome Club... Anything prior to 1980. (As that seems to be about when Dodge got out of it, and everyone else in lol)
