Look on eBay - seriously. I found a 3kw Onan that apparently no one wanted for $200 last year at this time for the first MH we bought. The second MH had a 4kw genny already installed, so we didn't need the 3kw.

New question. I know this is going to sound stupid, but this is my first RV and I have no manuals. I'm sure these have to do with leveling the RV (1978 Robinhood, Dodge chassis Class C) but what do I do with those small air release valves on the back (no, not the ones on the tires ![]() Thanks, Stephanie |

If I let air out, where do I put it back in? What are they exactly? Welcome aboard myrobinhoodrv. Notice your handle is similar to mine. I also own a '78 Robinhood. The Dodge chassis is a '77 though. How about yours? As far as the valves are concerned, I believe the valves are for the air bags on the rear suspension. If yours is like mine you will have a valve on each side next to the wheelwells. When in storage I typically drop the pressure below 50psi. For traveling though I put about 70psi in them. I think the max is 100psi - I'll double check that. -jc 78 Robinhood 23' Class C 97 Geo Tracker Convertible 4x4 87 Jeep Comanche Chief 4x4 |

Myrobinhoodrv, do you have any pictures of your MH you can post. It would be great to see another one. To see mine, just view my profile. |

Ii need to figure out how to post pictures. Mine is just like yours! Same colors. Those are the air valves I'm talking about. Thanks! Any tips for me that you've learned on yours? Stephanie |

Here's the thing. I know very little about RV's. I've had it since May and have been tinkering. My husband knows even less since he's relying on my limited knowledge. He saw the valve and said "oh, what's this" and released some pressure. Now it's lopsided lol. How do I find out if the chassis is a 77 or 78? Stephanie |

Also, look for an ID tag on the fender inside the drivers door. The tag has the date that the coach was made and also the date the van was made. |

Thanks for the concern MB but that's not the issue here. Robinhood installed Firestones's air bag system on the rear suspension as standard equipment. Same air bag system being used on many of the newer Class A coaches. The Air bags are in addition to the standard hydraulic shocks. This same air bag system is available from RV suppiers for most, if not all the motorhomes out there. |
