Topic: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?

Posted By: 79powerwagon on 08/21/07 04:47am

Way to go, Eye! How do you like it? Comfy enough? And how did it do towing a trailer?

As far as Chiltons go, they ARE better than nothing. If I can't get a FSM, then I get both a Chiltons and a Haynes. Chiltons have better mechanical info, and the Haynes have wiring diagrams. The local libray usually has them, and a copy machine, so just go and photo-copy the info you need for next to free! [emoticon]

And it's still raining....

But, while we're talking about racing, this coming week-end at the Milwaukee Mile is some sort of aero-wars vintage stock car event, Sat and Sun. You know, the SuperBirds vs Daytonas vs Taledaga's, etc. Weather is looking to be perfect for it (mid 70's and sunny) and the photo op is too good to pass up! If you go, I'll be the drunken fool wearing a yellow 66 Charger shirt (after all, the 66 was the start of the aero-war cars, ya know!).

Yikes!
It is ugly, puts you in mind of a bassett hound, wanna take it home and wash it first thing.

Leeann, yours canNOT look like that, not with the work you have done.

eye-- awesome rig, your work paid off. Karts are fun, friends of ours race them. It's what Margaret (The Daughter) learned to drive on.

Is it me or is it the time of year --before Labor Day, everyone's trying to get top dollar.

"3500, perfect, drive it home" I call and it's "oh, yeah, the exhaust manifolds leak bad, better have it towed."

Or "1500, needs water tank and holding tanks, otherwise good to go"
Then it's more like the water tank & holding tanks, iffy though they may be, are the only things holding the floor together.

My gawd, I looked at one that didnt' even have its own dogbox! $3000.

Yeah, I'm complaining, ignore me.
It's that Clipper got away yesterday making me sad.

See? [emoticon]

We actually chose it because 'it's so ugly it's cute' [emoticon]

A friend told us that some old RVs just look old and dated, but ours is a classic - I'm not sure if he was just being nice (he has a 3-yr-old Super C)....

That clipper looks pretty nice! Still 2 days to go though, it'll go over $2500.00. But if you do buy it, you can park next to me and your orange laminate will clash nicely with my green! [emoticon] Where's the 3D glasses when you need em?

How about this one?

Go to the LA craigslist, tons of them on there!

I'll park on the other side of you and then we'll have orange - green - pink with speckles [emoticon]

That one looks nice, btw.
