HUGE savings !

I did - in Maryland they're Historic - HUGE savings is right.

Looks just like a regular plate, but says "Historic" on the bottom center. Costs something around 1/3 of a regular plate. Should have information/application on your DMV's website if your state has such an animal.

The deal in MI ...... two options ...

A 10 year plate for 30$. (That is 3$ per year !)

A "forever" Plate ....for 45$ !

^ good god! I think I need to move up near my best friend anyway....[emoticon]

Mine was $50 for 2 years. Which, considering my '90 Ram Van costs me $180 for 2, is pretty stinkin' cheap - but MI is dirt cheap!

MD also has a 'Street Rod' tag. Neither needs to be inspected [emoticon]

I have hysterical plates on my old Dodge. I get a lot of laughs from it.

Hi Trish .... it was LATE last night ....I should have added -- that if that exhaust heat crossover passage IS blocked ... it can cost MPG big-time.
It wasn't that late, you mentioned it. Blocked it'll also leave unignited fuel in the bottom of the bowls.

I will. If I don't buy this Avion, it will be something older than 26 years, something I can put an historic plate on and go.

Ohio it's $25 for 40 years. Otherwise, MH plates are by weight.

In Ohio, you have to be traveling to a show.
Right... I take the Merc everywhere!
But it's amazing how many "RV Shows" there can be all over the continent. Huh.

Ahhhh ...LOTS of RV shows, car shows ..... cruises ...etc ETC.

That reminds me .... of that Garlits show in November ... in Ocala, FL ... THEN to the SuperBoat races in da' Keys !
