Ok I am new to the forum and new to RVing especially truck camping.
I love vintage RV's and we lucked out on this camper, it is a 1971 Cobra Metropolitan model. It was kept indoors all but 5 years of the last 41 and is in great condition for it's age. we plan to do some painting inside and probably rewire it, and replumb as well at some point. Just brought it home on Sunday and Hubby hurt himself so done little so far even in evaluating it but I expect to have good times in it.

Me & the Redneck Limo took the Bigfoot on a Prairie Dog blastin' adventure out near Holly Colorado. Sure was nice having a full service rig to shower in rather than roughing it in a tent.

As noted by one of the locals... That old ranch house is constructed of bricks carted in from the dismantled WWII Japanese Internment Camp.

KInd of embarrasing posting a picture of this old relic (1990 Alphil), compared to all the beautiful rigs on here....however it's my first TC and hopefully I'm gonna get some enjoyment out of it. Has forced air furnace, toilet, fridge and freezer and 4 burner stove. Everything works. It's been in covered storage for the past 9 years. Plan on using it for quadding, snowmobiling and fishing mountain lakes. The truck box tent just wasn't cutting it. Looks like a lot of knowledge on this forum so very good chance I'll have some questions as I go. Cheers.

This is our 1972 Sportsman's Dream Dannies Model on our 1996 F250 Powerstroke. The camper was made in Wilmont, Ohio and was sold in Fredericksburg, Ohio. We are new to the forum and will post more pics soon. If there is ANYONE else out there with one of these campers we would love to hear from you.
