Finally...winter finds Alaska. We took our new camper out for the second trip this past weekend to Otter Lake on Ft. Richardson just 15 miles from our house in Anchorage. It was nice to test the camper in some colder temps. We woke up to 10 degrees. The furnace kept the camper nice and cozy. It was a nice relaxing trip.

sirdrakejr wrote: I love the pics from Alaska. Why? You can see the same type of scenery all over the "lower 48" but the distances are not close to that seen in Alaska. The Alaskan horizon just seems to go on forever. Post some more!! Please.

Here you go Frank. I've been up here for 9 years and Alaska still amazes me. Hope you like. Chad

What size is the Pioneer trailer you're towing? It looks to be about 19 feet.
Frank
You're correct. We rented it for our trip. Two of us stayed in my camper and the other four in the TT. The over all cost wasn't much cheaper than us renting a cabin. But, it sure was fun being able to grill out and camp on the beach. Here's a couple campsite pics:

It may be my "optical delusion" but it looks like the TC is wider than the mirrors on the truck. Are they and how do you see around the TC?
Frank
It is a "delusion". All those pictures seem to have enough angle on them that it looks that way. In the attached image you can see the mirrors are past the camper on both sides (except for the slide). Actually I can see quiet well. The new GM mirrors are excellent in my opinion.![smile [emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
