Made 3 trips now. A record! Went as far as the snow let us (June 18, 2006)The trail was blocked just beyond the camper. [emoticon]

Good trip to Grand Island, VT this weekend, just above Burlington VT. Details at http://otrafrommaine.blogspot.com. Excellent campground right on Lake Champlain, this one specifically for adults and retired folk who feel like kids.

This photo is taken on the causeway leaving Grand Isle looking toward the Green Mountains of VT and are they ever green.

I grew up camping in a home made camper that my Grandpa built in 1969 to go on his 1968 Chevy. Just the sound of that truck starting up makes me relax. My parents still use the exact set-up to this day - with minor upgrades. My wife and I along with the two kids have just joined the Truck Camper world. Here is a picture of our 1971 Open Road Camper and 1988 F250 (460) ready for it's maiden voyage to Battle Ground Lake...
