Why does anyone care about someone else's prefrence of gas or diesel? My truck is diesel, my last one was gas. No one is going to convince that anyone that their truck is better than someone elses. Someone else's choice of tow vehicle is not going to effect my towing my camper to a camp ground. It's all about personal choice and prefrence.

Live and let live. If someone like gas over diesel, good for them. Same goes for those who like diesel better. As long as we all have fun when we get where we're going, who cares what we got there in. As long as your TV is safe and capable, get out there, have fun and enjoy the trips you get to take. Peace out ya'll.

If I ever win the lottery (which I don't play so not likely) I would put this engine in a medium duty sportchassis type truck.

I think I should be able to pull any grade with a 20k+ fiver at any speed I desire. I just need to find a way to add about a 500 gallon gas tank.

Stop buying Dodge Rams.

I did. And I'll be trading my Ford at around the same time for the same reasons.

You must be hard on them or live in the rust belt. Mine is 13 yrs old and like new. I can't afford to trade. This is my last one unless it gets stolen or totalled.

You've got a good attitude. I made a lot of comments tongue in cheek. I do prefer the torque and pulling power of a Diesel but if everyone liked the same truck we all would have the same one. BUT I just went camping for 4 days and pulled that 17 mile 6% going into Flagstaff and never dropped below 60 mph. All I was trying to do is state my case that a gasser of any brand will not do that. That's it. Hope there's no hard feelings. I just happen to enjoy some spirited conversations. You take care Hannibal and be safe.

No hard feelings on my part. If it wasn't fun, the site would dry up and fizzle. Here's wishing you a great day!

A Super Duty with the 30-valve V10 & 5R110 trans will pull away from you on that grade. 365HP trumps 275HP...simple as that.
