I did the propane exchange thing on the way home. I now have a tank that is good for the next 8 years. That is, of course, unless they never check the date and I refill it for 17 years. LOL.

Needed a propane refill today
Yesterday, I had to replace the 20 pound propane cylinder on my grill. No problem, I keep a spare. Today, I take the empty to get it refilled. The technician says "sorry, I can't fill it." I asked why, and he pointed at the date of manufacture. It was October 2002. That tank expired in 2014, and I have been refilling it every year or two since it was new. And, before anyone asks, that particular location is the only place that I have ever taken it to get it filled.

I had to replace the power cord to the monitor for my Airstream's backup camera. One of the wires had a break right at the connector. It would only work if I was pushing the wire in and down. After replacement, no further problems. It does happen.

Pex is not rated for burial.
You may want to tell that to the professional plumbers who replaced my ruptured home main water line with a 1 inch PEX line, and the city code inspectors who signed off on it without a qualm.
The problem is not burying the PEX. The problem is that if water freezes inside the PEX, the PEX can burst. You have to bury PEX below the frost line, or drain it.

You are right. He is only receiving 2 panels, not 3. I misremembered from the first of the thread where he said the buddy got 6 panels, but only used 4, so is giving away 2. I will edit my original post.

Voltage drop is related to wire size and amps flowing. Putting the panels in series keeps the amps low. That gives you less voltage drop. However, since the VOC is 45.29v, be sure that the MPPT controller is good to at least 100v.
If you opt for parallel, then be sure the wire is heavy enough to be capable of carrying 20 amps.
ON EDIT: corrected some numbers. I had misremembered and put numbers for 3 panels.

Is one for the house water supply and the other for a black tank rinse? If so, the different sizes may be intentional. If you can't get the rig winterized in time, turn the furnace on and set at 40 degrees till you can.

I've heard that hot water will freeze quicker than cold.
I don't know if it is true or not, but the theory is that the convection current set up by the heat rising above the open container carries heat away faster than no convection current. The assumption is that when the container has cooled to room temperature, that convection current continues, cooling the liquid faster. I seriously doubt this, but I have no information to refute it. However, the hot water in your system is not in an open container where the heat can rise causing a convection current, so, even if this is true, it wouldn't apply.

Or, just leave the furnace running, set at about 45 or 50 degrees. Watch to be sure you don't run out of propane though.

As has been stated, "draining the lines" is woefully insufficient. You either have to pump them full of RV antifreeze, or blow them entirely out with an air compressor.

It's relative, but personally I've never encountered a quiet generator in a campground, same for gas lawnmowers -- they all detonate atomized gasoline, not a quiet endeavor. You can invariably hear them in adjacent campsites. It's partly that reason I only disperse camp, so I don't have to listen to the generator in the next space for hours. I'm more into the sights and sounds of nature. A Honda generator costs around $2,500, whereas my $200 solar panel charges my trailer battery in as little as 30 minutes. I don't don't use AC or a microwave, so I have no use for a generator.
You are confusing a quiet generator with a silent generator. Apparently dispersed camping is the right choice for you.

If you install a battery shutoff on the battery, I STRONGLY advise that you hook the breakaway brake BEFORE the shutoff. It pulls no current unless activated, but that allows the breakaway brake to work in the situation where you forgot to turn the battery back on.
An alternative is to hook the tongue jack AFTER the disconnect. If you have to turn the battery on just to hook the trailer up to the tow vehicle, then you CAN'T forget to turn on the battery.

One of the things that we do to conserve grey tank capacity is use Dawn Powerwash to wash our dishes as it requires no water, then rinse them off with the outside shower. That puts zero water in the grey tank while doing dishes.
