My position amplifies the need of masking. Going without is an offensive error regardless if others are masked.

Just got the covid and it feels terrible. The worst is the pain in my ears which doesn't go away. I am going to do an online hearing test and see if it also had a negative impact on my hearing . I told my doctor about that already and he answered that it is one of the most common symptom of all the new variants of covid unfortunately.

With any pneumo viral infection beware of secondary superinfection (bacterial) Don't wait. See a doctor right away. There is a world of difference between beating an emerging strep infection and a fully developed one. This concerned me enough to travel 400 miles and spend a 15 hour day trying to avoid a worse case infection. of either.

I know that feeling, it sucks! Get well soon.
I got covid last month and still have some complications after the illness. The worst thing is ED - has anyone faced this problem? I read it's common and most often is temporary. I buy viagra online for this purpose (I was prescribed) and changed some lifestyle habits. Hope to get rid of this as soon as possible.

I sought definitive information about the danger level (percentage) of fully immunized seniors (65+) who end up in intensive care with (solely because) any Covid or variant.

Information eluded my search.

Throughout the pandemic, I declined getting any shots. I just used reasonable safety precautions, and have remained healthy. I just didn't trust having such a new, rushed medication injected into my body. As a matter of fact, I've never come down with any kind of flu or even a common cold throughout that time. [emoticon]

Mexicowanderer,

Latest variant vs latest bivalent vax 20% protection--heard on NPT so no good details.

My own view point is 20% is a lot better than none.

I got my bivalent on November 4--Pfizer, so my protection is waning.

My latest covid was the most difficult one. The cough remains for more than a month and i still have difficulties breathing.
I ordered myself few different types of vitamins and supplements from canadian pharmacy in order to boost my immune system a little.
Hope it will work and i can go back to my normal life and stop coughing like an old man.
