Testing [emoticon]

Your last post had me a bit confused as it leads back to the start of this topic, like a loop.

Yep, it did just take you back.... so removed it. Thanks for the 'heads up'. [emoticon] (Mod)

I think this is a great display....

While listing to the radio at breakfast this morning, the morning person was reading a list of what companies are doing what to supply both disposable materials like masks and gloves and other things like ventilators (that are now in short supply) by revising and re-tooling some existing manufacturing facilities.

This is what America is all about.

Right now we are seeing a lot of 'the best of people' in how they are responding to the crisis and helping each other in so many different ways. Hopefully a 'benefit' of the crisis is that those behaviors will continue and make this country stronger after it passes.

The CDC, John Hopkins, Oxford, and even New York City and a lot of others are taking HCQ and Azithromycin seriously. Lots of medical trials have begun already. There are several first hand patients that are telling of their own success. No one is saying it's the silver bullet but their is no room to not take is seriously.

I agree and we should know by next week how well it works.

We are all anxious for a successful treatment however we have heard nothing about having such information within a week from any credible sources; including the three listed above. It would be great but.....

At the moment only small numbers of folks have been in trials. That should be changing as New York State is now doing "faint hope" treatments on compassionate grounds.

Please join me in hoping they work.

I stocked up on disposable gloves some time ago, mainly for filthy diesel fuel pumps. Rather not have to wash a lot.

There is a "correct" way to remove the gloves to prevent contamination. If you screw up you could have a false sense of security. I'd continue to wash your hands as frequently as practical, but the gloves can and do offer a level of security.
