Suzanne Lake Provincial Recreation Site (Fernie) ????

We have a 35 foot 5th wheel RV. On the way home to the USA from Jasper and Lake Louise on October 7th we want to drive through Kootenay NP and hike the Marble Canyon. After this hike, we plan to take a dip in Radium Hot Springs to relax. Then drive down Route 93 towards the USA. We’re looking for an overnight spot, dry camping, boom docking before we get to the border. On Campendium.com we found Suzanne Lake Provincial Recreation Site (Fernie). There’s very little information on Campendium and the official website has very little information. Any and all information is welcome.

RE: Water tank failed! (09 Cedar Creek) fifth.

Potable water is best carried in stainless steel or FDA-approved, food-grade plastic tanks rather than in aluminum. Chlorine and aluminum are poor partners.

RE: Montana 3811ms fireplace

I can only speak for ours but there are nearly invisible rectangular black buttons at the very top of the fireplace. Mine is on the bottom of the fireplace. I also have a remote

RE: 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel GelCoat

Caused by water getting in to the fiberglass panel core and freezing during the winter. will appear as little blisters or holes as water expands during freezing and pushes the top layer off. Likely water is getting in either along the top seam of the door or around any attached handle or lock. I think this is the best answer. I will recheck for water.

RE: 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel GelCoat

Looks like it was shot with a bb or pellet gun. I would think that a gun would damage a MUCH wider area and less dense. This damage is the the bottom 2-3 inches of this one door. No other place

RE: 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel Ground Fault

Yes, it is the refrigerator. Unplugged it from 120V and no ground fault.

2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel GelCoat

I have a 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel. Yesterday I noticed small chips of loose gelcoat on the propane door. I cannot see any sign of water damage. Any suggestions on what cause this damage and how to prevent any further damage? https://i.imgur.com/Yd15JHJl.jpg "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image.

2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel Ground Fault

I have a 2017 Montana 3100RL 5th wheel. At home I have the RV connected to a 20 amp 120V circuit to keep the battery charged. Getting ready for camping trip I noticed that the ground fault on this 20 amp external circuit was tripped therefore no power to the RV. After some investigation it appears that the refrigerator is tripping the ground fault. It is the same circuit that is for the side of the living room/kitchen that the refrigerator is located on. Refrigerator is on the kitchen slide. While investigating the problem I noticed a green light blinking off/on at the circuit breaker power box. Is green blinking light normal? After I killed the wasp that have built a nest near the refrigerator outside access panel I will be able to disconnect the refrigerator and verify this is causing the ground fault. Any suggestions on why refrigerator is tripping the ground fault? https://i.imgur.com/Z8WRrsLl.jpg "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image. https://i.imgur.com/udwDchMl.jpg "border=0" https://i.imgur.com/m3zZPvb.pngClick For Full-Size Image.

RE: Help with Glacier please

. How long is the drive from Two Medicines to Apgar Campgrounds? If you are over 12' 6" (low underpass at highway 2 and 49 in East Glacier) or over 21' (?) long (length limit north on 49) You can NOT get to Two Medicines. Don't ask how I know. The Lost Week in Glacier!!!! There are a number of dry boondocking camp sites near the summit of Highway 2 also one commercial CG 4(?) miles west of the summit. We used it as a dump station. $5 -$10 to dump/fill.

RE: Camping Recommendations For Yellowstone

Years ago when I had a 34 foot Travel Trailer (overall length about 60 feet) I had the same problem with "overall length" I talked on the phone with the Reservation agency and got a spot at Fishing Bridge CG for 7 days and also one at Madison CG for 5 more days. There are camp sites that you can camp at but the website lumps the larger sites with some small sites and list the smallest as the maximum overall length.

East glacier at Highway 49 to Two Medicines CG

We have a 36 foot 5th wheel. We’re going to Glacier National Park September 9th to September 13. We will be coming from the town of West Glacier after visiting some friends. During this time. I understand St. Mary’s Campground is first come first serve. We would also like to go to Two Medicines Campground for day or two. Which I understand will require reservations four days in advance. But if I remember correctly coming from East glacier on Highway 49 there is a low railroad underpass that our 5th wheel which is 13’ 6” will not be able to get under. Am I correct? Is there any way around this low underpass? Thus, we will have to go to Browning and then come back on Highway 89 to connect to Highway 49 and come in to Two Medicines from the north. If I remember correctly the road from Highway 89 to Highway 49 is somewhat twisting but doable (?) With our 5th wheel. Am I correct? All suggestions are welcome

RE: Learned an expensive lesson today

After 9/11 ALL MAJOR bank transactions need a physical address to make sure the FBI can find you if you fund a teariest bome.

RE: Learned an expensive lesson today

I have full timed since 2006. My mailing address is 411 North 6th Street, PMB XXX, Emery SD. MY "RESIDENT" address for bank account, taxes, RV registration etc is 411 North 6th Street, Emery SD. I leave the PMB out. Sometimes I replace the PMB with APT XXX or Suite XXX. No problem I have purchased a number of autos and even 3 homes with this method.
