Hi folks. I have a 2001 National Tradewinds 7390 and need the driver and passenger seats redone. Does anyone know where I can buy some slip over covers that will fit these seats? The drivers seat is standard size but good ole National made the passenger seat around 1 and 1/2 times as wider. Want to get her looking good to maybe sell.

Are they just looking worn & tired or actually torn up?
There are companies that refinish seats and make them look new plus they will come to you. A fellow over on the IRV2 forum had his done and seemed very pleased.

The extra wide passenger seat was an option from National. Doug

Well, that complicates it some but depending on how severe, they can do wonders repairing vinyl, usually you can't even find it.
I'm sure it would look much better than slip-on covers, the cost might be too much tho. Used car & RV dealers often know who is good in your area.

If you're planning on selling it, I don't think putting seat covers over shoddy looking upholstery is a good idea. I know I would check under the covers to see the condition of the seats, and I assume most potential buyers would too.

My immediate thought is if you're willing to hide this relatively easy to fix problem, what else are you hiding on the rig that's harder/more expensive to fix?

If you DO use seat covers, I'd suggest that you inform any potential buyer about it BEFORE they look, so they know you're on the "up and up".
