About to pull the trigger, I think, on a used 2020 Braxton 24 RB with some hail damage on passenger side sidewall. Will this affect insurability and should I have it noted for warranty purposes?

I would be worried about possible damage to roof and seams. Future warranty on current hail damaged sidewall (or else ware) is suspect. You purchase is likely listed as: "As is".

I have to agree. If there is hail damage on the sides, I'd be checking the roof very carefully.

I'm assuming it's aluminum siding. as long as there are no tears where the the dints are it will just be cosmetic. like others have said check the roof and roof to wall seams to make sure they haven't been pulled out by a dint and are still sealed up good. any other damage on that wall would likely be declined by insurance as it was previously damaged but other than that its just if you are willing to put up with the dints. could use it to try get more off the price... tell them you want the side wall fixed for the same price your at now, or drop a few K off the prie and see if they go for it.

It might be more aerodynamic with those dimples on it! [emoticon] Think of why a golf ball has all those dimples on them. It's so they fly farther. I think "Myth Busters" did a thing on it way back when?

Walk away. There's too many used RV's out there for sale and prices are dropping. Why settle for a possible fixer upper?

If the price is right…IE, less than other used campers that have at least the same size and amenities.

I've determined there is only light cosmetic damage on the passenger sidewall. The roof will be resealed and inspected by me at the pdi. I will get a new battery, full 2 propane tanks, and I got the 400.00 prep fee waved. I'm satisfied with the deal and pulled the trigger. Thanks all for your input.
