check out the PullRite Super Lite. Made like the Andersen with a inverted ball.
clicky link

Much of voids the warrant myth gets posted on rv websites about most any product. A 1-800 to a mfg in question for their current policy can answer that question.

Thanks. I did a little online research last night, and it turns out that using an Andersen, or the Pullrite (similar to Andersen except the ball and funnel positions are reversed) or any similar type fifth connection, all void the Lippert frame warranty. However, using a Reese Goosebox, which appears to be a pinbox replacement, does not void the Lippert warranty. These cost close to $2K with tax and shipping. Turns out that Lippert owns Reese -- Gosh, what a coincidinky!

"So if anyone has any suggestions as to what 5th wheel hitches that attach to a gooseball that doesn't void any warranties that I should look into, I'd be very interested in any comments and information"

B&W Manual slider would by my choice!!! NOT a big fan of the folding type light weight hitches.

I would use that hitch any day over any aluminum Andersen.

That would be a little difficult if that's the only hitch you have , or I guess get someone else with a conventional to tow it in .

It goes deeper than that. The honest people end up paying (thru higher prices) for those that choose to defraud or cheat companies.
I would also say it comes under the "Golden Rule". Too bad everyone INCLUDING CRIMINALS do not follow such a simple concept.

That would be awful for a company that will find any excuse not to honor the warranty, and puts out a bad product as you well know . How many threads have we read about LIppert and their failed pin boxes with no fault of the consumer .Plus the fact the Andersen is no more in fault than a conventional hitch . Now I could sure see if someone was do that with a gooseneck on a fifth wheel ,buts that not what we are talking about . IMO is the consumer that's on the end of a defraud here.

You're totally missing the point, Cummins.
A company can choose to warrant whatever they want or no warranty at all for that matter.
And the consumer can choose not to buy from that company.
