My wife and I found a nice 2009 Serenity for sale that was in great shape so we bought it. The previous owner did not get a TV in it. We want a TV and the owners manual and brochure say all Serenities come "TV ready". I'm hoping someone here knows where the wires are hidden. There are none visible in any of the cupboards. I see a connection on the outside for TV cable. I will be installing an antenna on the roof and I am hoping that the term "TV ready" includes wiring already routed in the ceiling. If anyone has experience or advice about this, I would be glad to hear from you. Thanks

mines a 2007 so this might help. standing inside look out the windsheild ours hangs on your left open cabinet doors on your right ,on your left ours has a power booster for the tv annt, the wires are behind that panel hole bunch of screws to remove and the panel fits tight.I hung another smaller tv in the back on the frig side wall with a swival arm. I,ve had big,and small rv,s we like this one the best.I think you got a winner.

Thanks for getting back to me on this. If I understand you correctly, looking forward from the dinette, I open the overhead cabinet on the right side and the wires should be behind the inner, left side panel of that cabinet that is over the passenger seat??
I see in the brochures of the newer units, they put a TV swing mount on the back side of the fridge wall facing the bed and it will swing 180* so it can be viewed from the dinette area. I am going to try to find that bracket.
On the TV topic, ours has the big skylight over the dinette table. If yours has that, where is your antenna mounted on the roof?

I had a lot of trouble understanding this so I took a stab at redoing it. Hope this is easier to understand:
Mine is a 2007 so this might help. Standing inside, look out the windshield, ours hangs on your left. Open cabinet doors on your right. On your left, ours has a power booster for the TV ant. The wires are behind that panel. Whole bunch of screws to remove and the panel fits tight. I hung another smaller TV in the back on the frig side wall with a swivel arm. I’ve had big and small RV’s. We like this one the best. I think you got a winner.

your right and standing in front of the frig the ant is above your right shoulder. I bought my tv bracket at wal mart. that wall is about 3/8ths think. use bolts and washers.

OK, thanks midnight. I will try to get that panel off to look for the wires that will connect to the antenna booster. I may come back for more input from you so don't go far.![[emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif "smile")
Did you route wires from the power booster up front back to the rear fridge wall or were they already there?

I looked in the compartment you mentioned for a removable panel with no luck.
It's the cabinet on the right in this picture, correct?

This is a picture of the left panel in that cabinet, and I could find no screws or nails or any type of retainer.

you have two cabinets, mine has one ,and it looks just like the one with the door open . you might call/e mail ltv and ask for some help. have your vin number handy.. even same color.

the screws are very small driven in tight ,takes a square head driver to get them out. maybe in that small space to the left of the cabinet.could be you have none.

John, would a portable Rayzar work for you ? You can view them on youtube or the websites video link.
You could place it inside a window near the tv you mount.
Amazon sells it, if it’s not any good, return it .
It might be an easier option if reception is decent.
When many rv manufacturers have a ‘prewired’ tv option, they place a piece of 10x10 plywood inside the wall at a location to be able to view from bed or swing-out for a dinette view . Its a backing to screw into for the tv mount. Knock on the wall , to locate it.
Once you find it and mount the tv, i would add a web strap with a velcro closure across the screen to secure it for travel. I have seen tv’s rip out of walls bouncing down the road.

If you choose a permanent cable box in a wall-mount, i had to use right-angel connectors bc the rv wall was to thin for the coax to bend attaching it to the wall plate.
