Parks that are are poorly designed. Things like utilities on the wrong side,
sewer connection too tall, dump sites where your rig sits with a list away from the connection, and other things that make it apparent that the designer never used an RV.

I'll soon be 82 and have seen and heard it all I think. Noise, I just take out my hearing aids. Light, black out curtains. Most of the rest of it I just don't let it bother me, if it does I'll confront the people causing the problem. Have fun, you only go through life once, don't be miserable.

I'll have to admit I don't understand what's behind the mad proliferation of lit up trailers. I guess part of the blame belongs to the builders, for adding all those stoopid lights. Or maybe we could even go further back and blame the inventors of the LED. ![[emoticon]](http://www.coastresorts.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif "smile") Kerosene lights emit a nice glow without the glare. But there are those Coleman lanterns, talk about a glare. I used to like walking around a dimly lit campground, but those are getting rare as hen's teeth. And those dumb rope lights people lay on the ground. What's with that?
Which reminds me I need to get a cover for my overly bright Hughes EMS Watchdog.
And one can dislike a particular thing without being miserable.

That's the great thing about Rv's. If you don't like it somewhere you can just pick up and move. I find State parks to be great at addressing some peeves mentioned here as well as camping during non busy days. If I do have to be in a busy park, usually it's because I'm at a destination we wanted to see. In which case I embrace why I am there. I recently took up bike camping. Talk about being alone in the middle of nowhere. At that point any pet peeves are my own doing :-)

Our biggest frustration is the general lack of folks' decorum. I can't complain because I don't like the color of your camper or the way you dress, but I think it is reasonable to complain if a diesel truck with a modified exhaust is left running for thirty minutes at 7:00 AM on Saturday (recent experience) or if I can hear your music and foul language clearly at 11:30 PM (all too common, unfortunately). This doesn't mean one can't have a modified exhaust, play loud music, or cuss, but just don't do it obnoxiously in open public spaces where people have the right to expect common courtesies and decency. I, like others have mentioned, feel like there has been a steady decline in courtesy and decency, and the spill over into camping is expected but sad.
* That doesn't mean I am miserable or crabby - I just am selective on where and when we camp - so I can have a wonderful time with my family.

My pet peeve is the people who beat the **** out of their significant or insignificant other (this happened at an upscale snowbird resort). The screaming arguments (same resort). The people who leave their pets out all day and/or night. The dogs that bark followed by the owner screaming "shut up" which does no good at all (seems like everywhere). The pet owners who do not pick up after their pets because they are either "special" or they are overnighters and therefore do not have to follow the park rules. The people who open their vehicle doors and let junk fall out (paper and stuff) but don't pick it up. And those nosy people who want to look inside my rig (why?) or talk to me. Then they get upset when I don't want to talk to them.
Not RV Park but.... the people who can't push a shopping cart into a cart corral!
And people wonder why I prefer to stay overnight in parking lots when I travel.
