You're aware that diesel semis are heavy too, right?

Here's video put out by Tesla for a fully loaded 500 mile run. I do find it interesting there's no passenger seat.

I find it interesting what is "fully loaded." Is it fully loaded with Mike's my pillow pillows? Is it fully loaded to gross max weight? Is it fully loaded to volume? Is 10,000 lbs net fully loaded?

Words matter...

I find it interesting the route was never mentioned. I get pretty good fuel mileage when I measure my mileage at the top of the Ike grade going down hill. Now going up the Ike...

The route was between Freemont and San Diego via the grapevine as per the published data. It used 94 percent of the battery to go 500 miles.

Truck was loaded to just under 82000 pounds as per presentation.

I am thinking the mileage calculation never goes negative.

Rivian's financial woes are according to Elon Musk, not Rivian. They claim they have enough cash to go many more years before they have to make a profit. But, watch some videos on their Amazon truck, they are going to sell tons of those. Also, do you think Bezos and Musk might be competitors? Maybe that is Musk's wishful thinking...

Was this independently checked by a 3rd party? How big was the battery? Was the battery size independently checked by a 3rd party?

Were any of the weights independently checked by a 3rd party? There are several commercial truck scales that are mandatory to go over on this route. Do you know if they showed the actual weight ticket with the time and date printed on the ticket? If not, why not?

Was ANYTHING checked by a 3rd independent party? If not, non of this means anything.

****, you really think the data is fake... You can google it yourself and see if you can catch them in a lie. Chances are there has been more than 1 3rd party verification, like the companies that are buying these trucks from Tesla. I myself did not go look to see if the data is real, but obviously Reisender researched this before he posted it, so seems legit to me. No reason to question the validity.

I didn’t really verify anything. It’s just a screen shot from the engineers presentation. The numbers are all from the engineers presentation as well. I have no reason to believe they would falsify them. This data screen is pretty much what is in every Tesla. We have the same display in our car.

I am not an expert. But I have pulled a trailer a lot of miles with an EV. Looks legit to me.

JMHO though.

So the answer is no. Thank you.
