Dry cell batteries? If you mean AGMs, they are not dry but sealed. Same precautions as “wet” unsealed batteries.

Thanks a bunch. You got me, I never hear of AGM battery. I don' know it's one you don't ever put water in.
Around here they call them Dry cell.
I guess I'm going to have to go pull one of them out and see if it has the name or some thing on the side.

A dry cell battery is a flashlight battery. You have either maintenance free flooded lead acid (not a good choice), AGM (likely), or Luthium.
Only leave them plugged in with a good 3 stage charger. AGM won't freeze.

Are you sure you don't mean gel cells?

I'd fully charge then disconnect the batteries.

Gels are rare IMO, Don. Haven’t seen one in the field in at least two years.
