Just came back from a 6,000 mile trip and noticed many of the newer pickups are towing fivers a bit nose high. I do the same due to the later model trucks being built that way. Just curious if anyone else has seen the same thing.

Yep - all the time. We had MORryde add several inches to the height of our previous fiver so it would sit level with adequate rail clearance... and that was with a 2013 model truck. They just keep making them taller.

Yeah, they're going for the macho, "Muscle Truck" look. Height equals toughness. Stupid IMO, but I'm not who they're trying to sell to anyway.

My new 3500HD truck is 4" taller than my old 3500HD truck. It's kind of crazy how tall these trucks are getting.

I agree the mfg's are making them taller and taller for no reason.... Without the steps, we may not be able to climb in !
I will say that my 2020 F350 is about 2" lower than my 2015 WAS which made me happy...
I also added the Morryde IS and part of that was measuring and adding subframe to trailer to ride level...just another check on the "pro" side of that column for the IS

I’ve seen the same thing as well. Mine tows a bit nose high too but nothing I can do about it. I have definitely seen much worse and wonder if it tows any differently.
Since I’m getting older and my knees aren’t the best I also had trouble just getting into the bed. The bumper is high and the tailgate even higher.
I bought one of these right after I bought the truck. It is so much easier to get in the bed now and almost disappears when not in use.

I must just be **** lucky, I only needed to add Correct Track to our 5er to get it to tow level with our 2001 Ram 2500 4x4.When we got the 2016 Ram 3500 DRW we didn’t need to change anything and still tow level.

I opted to have my 2007 Chevy restored because the new ones are 5 or 6 inches higher. There was no way I wanted to raise the 5er that much.

A bit cheaper 4 years ago but, yes, quite proud. Even though it’s expensive it’s worth it for me.
