What is your favorite travel board game? So far all we play is Rummy with cards - looking into Parcheesi or something similar that folds up smallish for travel. We like to play at the picnic table in the evenings - with a fire, or not...

Any ideas?

rummikub and "pegs and jokers" are the two we always carry along and also play at home.

Nice thing about both is that both are easy to play and easy to learn for anyone from about 10 years old and up. Our 10 year old grandson loves pegs and jokers.

And neither takes up much room.

Oops, and add dominos to the list. doesn't take up much room, just needs a flat surface, and then a "discussion" off which Mexican train rules to use......

Thanks much for the ideas! We'll definitely stock up on a few different ones.

Any game has to be small since we have one small game shelf in our B. (No corn hole, or jarts...) [emoticon]

Edit - looking in our game drawer at home I found a card game called Five Crowns and a couple of bags of dominoes. Looks like we'll have to get our old brains learning how to play these...
