RE: Anyone awitch to new Visible Plans?

We did, in November. Got the $30 plan. So far, it's been good. Sitting in our RV the phone I have the Visible service on is dedicated to hotspot use. It generally outperforms my Verizon 5G phone (when the 5G phone actully finds a 5G signal).

RE: Relationship between jacks and slides?

Is the fluid for the slides just recirculating then? Why isn't the level in the reservoir affected when I run the slides in and out like it is with the jacks?
Likely, the level varies with jack deployment because they are pressure out (oil pumped into the jack cylinder), lowering oil in the reservoir; and spring return, raising the oil level. Slides are double-acting cylinders - (oil s pumped into one end to deploy, while the oil is pushed from the other end of that cylinder; opposit for retract. Thus the oil level does not change for the slides.
Slide Cylinders are like this

RE: Slides out or autolevelers down first?

Common sense (regardless of what the coach builder says) dictates being level before deploying slide(s). That's all there is to it! Slide mechanisms are not designed to operate when out of level. Read the slide out manual, or call the slide manufacturer.

What does the owner's manual have about it? Just don't base your decision on what a salesman might tell you.

RE: How does 50 amp work?

Decent explainations - additionally, this 50A service of 2 110V, 50A legs only works if the two legs are on different phases of the circuit from the supply.

RE: Heat pump blowing cold air

I have a 2019 Winnebago Forza 34T. Last night the heat pump started blowing cold air (All settings are correct). The gas furnace works, but we're flying home for the next ten days and Xmas eve forcast calls for a low of mid 20's. Any suggestions?
Run the gas furnace, or winterize the unit. What was the outside temp?
My Coleman 48004969 heatpump does very well down to 35-36 deg. F.

RE: Splendide dryer solution?

Have you been doing the clorox cleaning cycle? Ours had a marked drying time increase, ran the clorox cleaning and it came to drying life. Must do something to the accumulated lint stuck in the inards.

RE: US travel to Canada

Going from Canada to USA, on November 24, 2022, I had to have proof of vaccination for the USA border folks.
I can not yet speak about Usa to Canada.

RE: Mini-split: How to install the interior piece

I would fasten a peice of 3/4" plywood to the wall, a bit bigger than the unit, first. Would spread the load and hopefully give you fastening oportunities to at least 3 of those aluminum frame studs.

RE: Extend my propane system to a grill, which add-on do I need?

This is what I bought
Goes between your tank and the OEM regulator. Gives you a place (hose included) to connect an auxillary tank and a port w/hose to feed propane appliance. That appliance would need it's own regulator.

RE: Visible Phone Hotspot

I use a GL.iNet GL-AR750S-Ext got from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/GL-iNet-GL-AR750S-Ext-pre-Installed-Cloudflare-Included/dp/B07GBXMBQF/ref=sr_1_2?crid=1N9ZLRSTC09EU&keywords=GL.iNet+GL-AR750S-Ext&qid=1666784073&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIxLjY1IiwicXNhIjoiMS4zNyIsInFzcCI6IjAuOTMifQ%3D%3D&sprefix=gl.inet%2520gl-ar750s-ext%2Caps%2C142&sr=8-2&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.006c50ae-5d4c-4777-9bc0-4513d670b6bc
I can use it tethered to my phone or connected via wifi and then all devices in the RV use the same network. Also use it with a Verizon MyFi with Visible chip.

RE: Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injection

I had those shots (lots of them over a 3 year period. Was on a first name basis with the anesthesiologist. Finally talked to a surgeon that made sense to me and had the surgery for spinal stenosis. Been 7 years and all is good. The shots worked but never became a "cure".
Good luck with your particular problem.

Try the local fairgrounds. Many have RV spots and if your plans don't coincide with a big event you might be good.

RE: Gas Class A

We have been in a gas Class A for 6 years of traveling; living 1/2 of that time in the motorhome. For us, and many, the primary concern is comfort in the living mode. Floor plan that fits your needs and wants is most important.
Yup, the gasser is noisier up front. Handling is generally better in the DP, but not always. Most gassers handling can be improved to satify the driver/occupants.
I think the gas/diesel thing is about "want" no so much need. Depends on how much travleing (miles) you intend to do. There is lots of information out there on this gas vs. diesel discussion.
We started in a 32 ft. Winnebago and are now in a 38 ft.Tiffin Open Road. Very happy with the floor plan and comfort level.
