RE: Largest conventional motorhomes in Australia

That Kenworth is a Nice looking unit, but, I assume it wasn't specifically made for Australia, as I don't see an entry door in that photo.

RE: Sorta tells it all, don't it.

Those same type of warnings have been products for a long time, ie; desiccant packs, hopefully any child old enough to read the warning has already been taught Not to put it in your mouth. All these seemingly ridiculous warnings just prove that stupidity has been around for a very long time.

RE: Fresh Water Tank Location

I don't have that model but, on my Class C, the water tank is under the queen bed, the hoses that are capped are my low point drains, the tank drain valve is next to the tank. I know they're not all the same but, it's someplace to start.

RE: Can you identify this equipment and/or beer can ?!?...

If you zoom in on the pictures it looks like two insulated drink cups on the table. You can see the ring around both of them where the top snaps on. As far as why not ask the bud? Who knows. Maybe he's trying to see if that beer can is the same beer that his wife likes to drink. If it's his bud...still doesn't explain why he doesn't just walk over and ask (or take a closer look while talking to his bud). But looks like a small blackstone griddle. No idea what type of beer.X2, looks like a blackstone minus the propane tank, and no clue about the beer. As far as asking his bud, maybe Buds not currently on site.

RE: Crecent City via 199 Grant's Pass or 299 Redding

We don't have a 5'er but with our class C w/ toad on the dolly, we had no problems on 199, plus according to Google maps, it's roughly 1 hour 45 minutes, Vs 7 hours and 9 minutes down to Redding & up 299 .

RE: Pooo! RVIA Shipment Report for March Reveals 50.8% Decrease

Looking at just those numbers, looks like Class C's didn't fair badly at all, comparably, While for whatever reasons, towables really went into the crapper.

RE: Weird sounds at night

are you under trees? X2, acorns, and other nut trees, could drive you nuts, black walnuts sound like small cannon balls hitting the roof, sweet gum balls also make a lot of noise, not to mention dead twigs & branches.

RE: Maybe when I get a little older

I think many times for folks, the deciding factor is the difference between having a Career that you enjoy, and the rest of us who have jobs, mostly because we needed one, not necessarily because we enjoy it, while I have had a couple jobs I enjoyed, I couldn't wait to retire, since then I've done what I wanted to do, not what I had to do.

RE: Walmart overnight parking

Our local store has a sign "No 24 hour parking" So has ours, and many others, but then I know of NO ONE that "Overnights" for 24 hours, where ever we stop when traveling, be it WalMart, Interstate rest area, Truck Stop or where ever, it's usually from 4-6 hours. I've seen signs that say No Overnight Parking, but I've never seen anyone run out of them.

RE: Pantry Road Trips

There are a lot of things we pick up when we're in Central NY, unfortunately most of it never makes it to the pantry.

RE: Shenandoah National Park

Loft Mountain Cg in the park (A Loop) is First come first serve, There are other FF in the CG, but A loop is generally the best, (flattest). Thanks, I saw yhat but a little apprehensive availability when i get there. They Do have reservable sites, I've just personally not found them as nice as A Loop.

RE: Water pump/filter location

I have a 2018 Phantom 25T and mine is located under the bed next to the fresh water tank. Ditto for our friends Coachmen RV Leprechaun That's exactly where it is on my Forester, pump is next to the fresh water tank, the filter is about a foot from the pump, mine has an access panel on the bed base, no screws, just a pull off panel.

RE: stairs

I have a MH, not a TT, it came with electric steps, I would assume that you can get them on a TT too, maybe even after market, all it costs is money.;)

RE: Kitchen stove fan "flap".

I went through 2 of those plastic pieces of **** before I found this, it's made of aluminum, I doubt the little tabs will fall off, a little pricey, but worth it.

RE: CO/LP Detector

I'm confused on how these dual purpose units work, as CO is lighter than air is why my CO detector came mounted near the ceiling in my bedroom, but LP is heavier than air is why my LP detector came mounted near the floor just inside of the entrance door. How does a dual unit read both, correctly if mounted in one spot. No need to remind me how smart I'm not, I already know that. ;)
