What problem are you trying to fix?
"The hitch head is heavy, have to store the bars, etc."
The Anderson uses chains instead of bars and the hitch head is like a standard drop hitch, except it has the extra stuff for the sway control built in.
I don't have any experience with them, so can't comment on that part. I'm just a WD bar type of hitch, so just deal with the bars and the hitch head..

Wouldn't you also now be required to submit an additional tax return for the LLC? How are you going to show any sale receipts or whatever else the IRS might check for even if you report losses every year?
Seems too fishy to me to try to get out of paying sales/registration taxes which you can of course do, but just not as easy as it was a decade ago.. I think some other high figure person has tried to hide his taxes too.... :)

If I were to want to do something like that to avoid such a thing, I'd start with a simple google search with something like "how to setup llc in montana"
You should get lots of results with lots of advice from there..
I'd also guess that if this were something that was a common thing to do, we'd all be doing it... :)

If going strictly by the numbers, you have even less payload with the mods done to the truck.. Those bigger tires weigh more than the OEM ones. The lift kit has added additional weight as well.. If I had to guess, I'd say you are probably around the #1900 payload now. (with the #10,000 GVWR you subtract the actual weight of the truck as it sits right now to come up with a new payload #)
My F150 has a #1900 payload rating! But, your 2500 Ram is still a much more HD truck than mine, so you can get away with going over payload if you wish... But, that's up to you to decide by how much.. :)
You'll have to settle for a TT for the reasons given above, but it's still not gonna be a 'hitch it up and go' kinda deal.. You'll really need to adjust your driving and learn how the combo reacts with each other and go from there..

RE: Truck starts on its own
I've got remote start on my Ford Escape. You have to hit the lock button first, then the start button 2 times within a few seconds for it to start. I'm not sure on it's range yet? Have not tested that.
But, one time I looked at my driveway camera and the back hatch was open. I did have the key fob in my pocket, but you have to hit that button 2 times too?
So, dunno...

No idea what the "MSRP" for an RV means?? It does seem to be some made up number so that they can then say "35% off MSRP!!"...
Of course the dealer still has to make a few bucks on any deal they make.. Just as the manufacturer has to make a few bucks on any deal they make. That seems to be the 'game' of it all.. You want the best price and the dealer will either let you walk or not.
I compared prices and found the rig I wanted back in 2019 for the price I was willing to pay for it.. I think I can still get that same price I paid for it back then if I were to sell it now.. But, then to replace it, I would be paying a lot more.
Just like my house.. I can sell it now for a lot more then I paid for it back in 1998.. It's actually paid off now too! :) But, to get into anything even close to what I have now I'd be back to a having a mortgage again!
Anyway, buy what you want when you want it, as the prices are not going to get cheaper the longer you wait these days...

A quick Google search shows that model with "Zone" "A" or "B" buttons. One of them 'should be' for the interior speaker(s) and the other for outside. You should be able to toggle between A and B separately or even both at the same time.
At least that's how my Furrion unit works.. It's not that model, as it does not have the built in DVD player, but has zone buttons and outside speakers.

I've noticed the RV lots filling up with inventory.. Also seeing more trucks and suv's on the car lots now too.. So seems that the trend has shifted for sure.
It costs me on average around $300 in gas just for a local camping trip that's about 4 hours away. About $100 more than it used to cost even just last year.
I've used the F150 as a daily driver all the way up to around June of this year.. Picked up a 2014 Ford Escape for the daily grind now and the F150 is in the garage now..
Just paid off the mortgage this month and the trailer will get paid off soon too.. All other vehicles are paid for, so no new ones planned for some time, that's for sure!! I've have whatever breaks FIXED even if it's a whole new engine/tranny deal...

RE: DIY 50 amp to 20 amp pigtail
You can buy what you need off the shelf. Get a 50a-30a adapter. Then get a 30a-20a adapter. People do this all the time when plugging in their 30 or 20a only rigs..
Difference is that the rigs themselves will have their own 30-20a breaker, so it's still protected to that amount.
If you just plug right into the adapter with the 600w heater, it'll still be connected to the 50a breaker. It'll work just fine, just not pop until it exceeds the 50a breaker if something grounds out for some reason.

This is how I installed mine up front. It did have a steel cross piece, so install was easy peasy.

I did the same for the rear, but put the front/back bars on the rear, as it was a better fit to do it that way.

RE: Trailer Brakes HOT after adjustment
I tested brakes by driving around under tow for approx. 5-10 miles braking hard and also using my Tekonsha brake lever to brake hard (not at the same time). I did hard braking doing 30-40mph. I did this to adjust my Tekonsha gain setting and to be sure brakes did not lock up on a hard stop.
After the drive, I pulled over near my home and went back to touch brake drums. They were very hot to the touch...all 4.
I know if I did this with mine, they would all be hot?
If you drive around without hitting the brakes that much or hard on the trailer, how hot are then then?
Unless I missed something in your post?

It seems strange that the bedroom does not have it's own vent?
On my rig, with the front bedroom, middle living/kitchen, rear bath, the bath is the only 'room' that does not have it's own vent because of where the entry door for the rig is..
I only have 2 vents. One in the middle and one to the bedroom.
Normally, I don't like to run the gas furnace as it's loud and uses a ton of gas.. I always have at least power hookup at the sites I go to, so we have a small electric heater that I'll use in the living area. When the door to the bedroom is closed, no heat really gets in, but usually the comforter and shared body heat is fine..
We close the bedroom door because all the LED lights that stay on makes in the living area makes it really bright in that room. So much so, you don't need any lights on when going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
Anyway, is there anyway you can add a furnace vent to the bedroom? I know when I use ours, it really heats it up nice.. It's just loud when running.. My furnance has about 4 unused 'cutouts' that can be used for additional vents. It really blasts the air with only 2 of them being used!

About the only rule of awning use I go with is to not tie them down...
If it's too windy that you need to tie it down, it's too windy to have it out in the first place.
It'll just take you that much longer to bring it in if you need to quickly.
I've had my manual awning out and been out in the middle of the night in my under ware bringing it in before.. Funny for sure, but was able to do it quickly.
Now I have the electric awning and it's just a push of the button if needed to bring it in in the middle of the night..
I'll watch the weather forecasts and judge from there what I do with the awning.
I've left it out all weekend at times and sometimes it never comes out..
Just depends on the location and the forecast..
Have never lost an awning in 20 some odd years of this RV thing. :)
Do whatever works best for you and go from there..

TURN THE ANTENNA OFF (the wall plate with the switch, light, antenna connector and 12 volt outlet.. TURN IT OFF)
He said he did that in his first post...
Other than checking the TV input settings and such, get a cable long enough to go from the post to the tv and plug it in directly. Then see what happens.
That will eliminate the RV's cabling setup and then you can go from there.

If under warranty and you Jack from springs when manufacturer says no and something goes wrong…no coverage.
Well, any 'warranty' can be denied for any reason... So, in the end, do whatever method works best for you and your situation...
If you are unsure, or unable to physically do this, probably best to have some sort of 'road side assistance' coverage so you can just call someone to do it.. ;)
Sounds like the same 'internet' rumors that get passed down from generation to generation.. :)

I know this is all about jacking rigs with leaf springs... That's why I like my torsion suspension setups I've had on the only 2 rigs I've owned for the last 20 years..
This is my old 2003 Prowler Lynx TT. What you don't see in the pic is the jack stands on either side on the frame as well. The bottle jack is just there to get the tires off the ground initially and then I put the stands under and release the jack so it's just there to jack up again to remove the stands..
Anyway, I've done the same on the Rockwood, I've just gotten a larger bottle jack cause I needed more extension on the pistons..
And NO, the frame is NOT bending... It's just the way the picture came out.. ;)

Well, you'd have to see the rig in person I'd think and get up on that roof yourself or hire someone to inspect it for you. Then all you can do is take it from that assessment.
Other's have pointed out some good things to consider too, so you would be taking on a big project that could only get deeper once you open it up..
Hard to say. Guess it depends on how much you want it and how much more $$ you feel comfortable investing to repair it...
You could just low ball the offer and see what happens... But, then the seller might accept it! So be prepared for that and only offer if you are serious about it.

Not really sure what would fill the grey tank when hooked up however?
Might need to test it by putting some water in the fresh water tank and turning on the water pump and see if it 'cycles' on/off without anything being used water wise?
It might take awhile for that to happen if over 4 days, the grey tank didn't overflow?
I've seen a couple of campers in full hookup sites with a nice waterfall feature added to it when the owners left the water turned on and something broke inside... I turned off their water when I saw it, but they didn't get back for hours..

That would be my thought on saying it has a 'new roof'... In that, if they stripped the old one off and put a new membrane or whatever on it.. Then they would/should have had to pull everything off the roof first.. ACs, vents.. Everything..
If they just re-coated it, they could have just pulled the cover off the ACs and done deal.. But, if it's condensate line is plugged or leaking, then it's not been fixed..
Yes, being above the slide, takes that out of the equation for the source IMO.
That's why I said maybe the drip rail, but when the AC unit was mentioned by johnhick, "bingo" went off in my head.. At least enough to think that's a good place to start the search..
Might still be worth it for the right price... I saw others in the $60k range for the same year/make/model of rig, so??
Does not matter what they paid for it brand new.. It's what it's worth now that matters and condition is a major factor in the rv world.
Good luck if you go for it! Like I said, it looks good from the other pics, and 140k is not much on the engine as long as it's been maintained of course.
Since it seems to be an online deal, I don't know if you'll be able to see it in person first, but that's the only way I buy vehicles, but that's just me..

I think those self leveling jacks are placed a lot closer to the axles than at the very ends of the rig like the stabilizer jacks are placed..
I got the "strong arm" stabilizer jack extensions and those made a huge difference in the bounce/wobble of the rig once leveled..
I'll use boards under the tires to bring the rig close if it's off more than a full bubble of level just sitting there. More if necessary.. But, I crank them enough to get some weight on them to 'stabilize' the rig, then crank on the strong arm bars and it's pretty much rock solid at that point.
I know that's not your question, but I also jack up my trailer with a bottle jack to check the brakes and pack the bearings and I put jack stands on either side of the frame as close to the axles as I can and it's actually very solid!
I'd do that in the camp ground, but too much trouble and effort when my strong arms do a good enough job for "camping".. :)
