With Battery Grinders, you can cut through a Lock, Chain, or Cable in seconds.

RE: Black Tank Treatments - Yay or Nay?

OK, I know a Guy who lives on a hill. For some reason hit Septic is on the high side of the house, while his Well is on the low side. Jokes that he simply recycles his water. Water isn't being destroyed, it's just recycled. Water soaks into the ground an into the aquafers which we pump out of, but when finished we return it, it doesn't get lost anywhere.

RE: Do Many Full-Timers Keep 2 Stationary Trailers?

We don't, but have Friends on another forum that do exactly what you're looking at doing. They have a Winter camper where is warm and a Summer place in the Mountains for a cool summer.

RE: Optilite LED - DELI

OP here, finally got an answer: Seems Camping World purchased Optilite approx a year ago, but seems none of the Store Managers were aware of this and that Camping World is now responsible for the 5 year warranty. Just have to get to a store and explain the Facts of Life to them.

Optilite LED - DELI

I purchased some two packs of Optilite LEDs #101760 in September/October of 2022, several of which have become defective. These bulbs carry a 5 year warranty. Tried to exchange them at the local Camping World Store in Holiday, Florida and was told after 90 days warranty must be through the Manufacturer. BIG problem, try to find anything about Optilite, no such company. They are distributed by National RV Supply. Try to find anything about them and you are pointed to the Camping World HQ in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Contact them and get the same run-a-round, "Contact the Manufacturer", fine how do I contact them, answer "I don't know" These bulbs sell for $24.99 for the two pack so not just cheap throw-a-ways. RE: Incredibly Rude People

Those that think it's cool to be as provocative as possible may run into some of their own kind that are armed and Lead might start flying, especially in the current climate

RE: Generator dB rating

As I posted earlier most db rating are at X number of feet from the source. I think the Honda's are rated like at 25 feet, the Champion rating might be at say 50 feet.

RE: Generator dB rating

Be very careful with those db ratings, 54db at 25 feet is much quieter than 54 db at 50 feet. I don't believe there is any standard for the db rating at X number of feet.

RE: Tire pressures

Word of caution: If you run too low of a pressure you run the risk of rolling the tire right off the rim when in a tight turn. I agree OEMs were probably "D" rated and now you have "E" rated, thus the pressure difference.

RE: Valve stem extenders for inner wheels (DRW)

Ditto, 150 PSI compressor as I run 125 PSI in the trailer tires, and have several different chucks and plenty of air line.

RE: Chevrolet 6.6 burning oil

You realize a quart every 1000 mile, and figure you change oil every 5000. You'd never need to change the oil again, just change the filter once in a while.

RE: Chevrolet 6.6 burning oil

Ha, oil usage, remember the Chevy Vega?? Had a '72 fun to drive with 4 speed, but pull into a station, check the gas, fill the oil. Was carrying a gal jug with oil marked in quarts, would drive until the oil light would flash when cornering, stop and add a quart.

RE: Tires on a 5th wheel and aggravation

The Marathons were BAD, if on a new camper you would be lucky to get it home before you had a blow-out.

RE: Travel Assist Insurance

If Medical Emergency Assistance look into SkyMed or MASA. Both will cover expenses during an emergency, but there is some differences between them.

RE: Tires on a 5th wheel and aggravation

LT tires never ST. You can't run LT tires on many of the newer bigger Rigs, as they just do not have the load capacity for 7K axles without even talking 8K axles, that will fit. I need 17.5" tires and don't know of any LTs in my size

RE: Firearm storage in maine before Canada

Check if there is a branch of the bank you might use. I rented a Safety Deposit Box before leaving Florida the year we went to Alaska and left the pistol there.

RE: 30amp surge protector on 50amp line

Simple if on 30 amps, running 1 AC, heating something in the Microwave, and the Hot Water Heater kicks on in the AC or Coffee Maker is turned on. You'll pop the 30 amp pole breaker.
