RE: Done!

“after the market completely crashes…” We’ve been through this before and we’ll get through this…together.

RE: Battery Bank Location

Lithium batteries under the bed would be my choice. No venting. Less weight. Low voltage drop. No corrosion. More usable AHs. For instance a 300 AH Lithium battery has 270 usable amps conservatively.

RE: 1998 Teton Kingman wiring schematic.

1998 is pre-internet for most people and businesses. Further there are few RVs of that age stil around. Therefore, usually no online source.

RE: Dumb question

OP needs to slow down and get educated on RV electricity before trying to plug a 120 volt appliance into a 400 watt solar system.

RE: Advice on Cover for Winter Storage

My TT is 7 1/2 feet wide and I cover it alone from a ladder. The key is folding the cover on the ground for an easy role out on the roof

RE: Propane Tank Level Indicators

None. When a tank empties I switch over manually and fill the empty tank. Gives me an excuse to go to town for lunch.

RE: Shopping new tires - is my shop confused or am I?

"And it is amazing how many "tire salesmen" have no idea about what they sell." I ask them not to talk until I ask for a price out the door...they are usually wrong.

Ask an independent insurance agent.

RE: Shopping new tires - is my shop confused or am I?

IMO find another tire store.

RE: Guidance using Zamp Solar Controller

WindyNation says…”WARNING: Connect the battery BEFORE connecting the solar panel(s). 1) Connect the Battery Connect the charge controller to the battery BEFORE connecting the solar panels to the charge controller.” I’d disconnect the panels from the controller first if you are planning to remove the batteries.
