Why do you think the door is warped? Maybe it's just wedged in tight. Grab the top of the door and pull or push and see if you can move it. There is very little clearance so it doesn't take much to make the door bind up.
Cutting off the door or tearing apart your unit seems rather drastic.

Model years are all over the place. Most manufacrures have been 2024 for several months. The VIN number of the chassis is the the important one. If it's a 2022, so whats the big deal? Maybe Forest River got the first 2022 chassis and put on the last 2021 body. Again,so what?

To each there own. Ours has the fold out steps and both DW and I love them. Much more stable than the fold out kind. I am never so rushed I can't spend a few minutes adjusting the steps or cleaning them off when packing up.
If you don't like 'em don't get 'em.

We visited Bryce Arches and Zion in September 2019. Very crowded. Not an enjoyable trip. Wait at the entrance, wait for the shuttle, wait for the restrooms, almost like Disney World.
I can't imagine the crowds in the peak summer months. Make reservations NOW.
