The time has come to replace the cooling unit in my fridge.
My Dometic RM 3862 has finally bit the big one after 20 yrs. Can't complain. Anyone done this? I don't want a residential unit so Time to replace. Just wondering what I'm getting into.

Bottom line we need to get off fossil fuels as fast as we can.
Why?:W I know it's a joke but apparently somewhere between 7% and 14% of US adults are still climate change deniers. Scary isn't it? Weather forcasts are not accurate more than about a week out....Yet we are supposed to believe forcasts decades out?Bottom line is climate change is real no point in denying it. Real truth is it has been going on since the earth was formed and we are not going to change it. Explain the ice age or whale bones and sea shell fossils in the middle of the dessert. Fossil fuels did not do that.

I have a Ryobi from Home Depot. Great wrench and will do A class rims and yes I am a retired mechanic and I also had a Snap-On tool franchise. This wrench is better than the S-O.

Which electric car will go 1500 miles on a single charge?
I took that to mean he’s driven 1500 miles and not had to use a public charger (i.e. round trips from home).He said WITHOUT RECHARGING.

A/C problem
My buddy has a problem with his Dometic a/c unit. This is a older unit. It may run all day and then just shut's off and comes right back on and continues to do this. It acts like the power shuts off and comes right back. I replaced the thermostat because I didn't understand what he was telling me to start with and no change.
Any Idea's what will cause this?

No ban that I am aware of. I stopped looking at them because they all start with the same few people here that have them. Only one of them I know of rv's with his. Just not enough to matter for a RV forum to me.

Wonder why the lady told me Lippert doesn't sell o rings??
The ones on their site don't appear to be the right size.
I did email Lippert with the specs to see if someone else can help me.

Don’t let staying in a State Park give you a false sense of security, I was at the State Park in Lake Havasu in my truck camper, full hook ups, I unplugged my power cable but left my expensive surge protector locked to the electrical post, went around town, came back and the surge protector was gone!
I complained to the front desk they asked around and then the Ranger came by with my surge protector! He said the “help” had thought I was gone and took it for safe keeping in case I would return.
They didn’t check if I was there another night, which I was, they kept it in their shed, not the front desk, where I would have gone. I told the Ranger I was going to call the City Police and he wanted no part of that, so they credited me with my entire stay for free.
Don’t trust anyone or any place….
So someone did a good deed and you became a male Karen over the deal...pathetic...I thought the same thing. I would have been thankful someone was trying to get it back to me.

We had United thru AARP for 3 years but dropped them last year as they would not sign contracts with 3 of the major hospitals in our area and also kicked our Dr's out of network. We have Humana Advantage now and it has been much better. Lower co pays and more benefits.
