The bashing of a company has gone far enough. It you have no more input to the OP's question then I will close this one. I cannot let the continued bashing of one company go on.

Great post, too bad it will be closed soon!
Nah. I fixed the original post so it would not have to be closed. I think this is a legitimate question that needs to be discussed.

RE: MorRyde IS & Disc Brakes

Snip...
BTW...agree with friends, even forum friends I've never met, being an important asset. I feel like I actually know some of you, and appreciate your online friendship!
Three of my very best friends are guys I met here on RV.net. Have met them in person for quite a few years but talked with them here for a long time before that. :)
I'm sure that is true for many others here also. This place is more than just reading and informing.

RE: Covered Storage of RV In Driveway

Open this link. Drag and drop the photo. Copy and paste the link that it returns. (This link is thanks to the user named 1492.)
http://photoposting.is-great.net/?i=1
Dang it! the link gets blocked by my virus software with message that it is "known dangerous site not highly recommended to proceed". Any other ideas to post a few pics?
I, and many others, have been using that site for quite a few years. I just click on "continue to the site" and go on. There is nothing there that will hurt you or your computer.

RE: This net is dying!

The app uses Imgur and the photos are governed by their rules.
I too used Photobucket for years but to post a photo on our website was a whole lot more involved than it is now using the app designed by our Technology forum moderator 1492. You could not post a url directly into your post from Photobucket without using the picture posting icon. This is what many members could not understand because it was so convoluted. It also did not automatically size the picture to our forum guidelines forcing moderators to spend many hours re-sizing pictures.
All you do in his app is upload your picture, copy the url that results, and paste it into your post. Could not be simpler than that. Your picture will appear and be properly sized. You don't use the picture posting icon in the small boxes above the large dialog box at all.

RE: leaf spring broken..trailer legs?

Trailer Legs website.
I don't have nor have I ever used them but they look like they would be more work than just using boards. I see they did use boards in the video to raise the axle enough to get the jacks under it.
Also don't see why they would cause any damage to the springs if used.
I would save my money.

RE: This net is dying!

If you will follow these directions exactly, it is very easy to post pictures on our forums. One of our moderators, 1492, developed this photo posting app to post your pictures. It works for other internet sites also. There is no need to have a separate hosting site for your pictures in order to use it.

1. Upload your picture from your computer to the app.
2. Copy the resulting URL.
3. Paste that URL into your post without ANY changes. No additions or deletions.

Note: Norton Lifelock does not like the site for some reason. I, and others, use it regularly without issue. When I get the red "Dangerous Webpage Blocked" message I just click on "continue to the site" down at the bottom and everything is ok. Have been doing this since 2014.

RE: 2017 Aerolite Dutchman 284bhsl suspension question

I suspect the previous owner put on larger tires. I would crawl under there and take a good look at the springs and also the note the tire size and compare with what is on the placard on the left front corner of the unit.

RE: 1998 Teton Kingman wiring schematic.

Almost any RV manual is just a collection of the manuals that the appliance manufacturers put out and any other information is just about useless.
We have a longtime member, Chris Bryant, now retired from his RV service business, who has generously provided a link to many manuals, both RV's themselves and appliances used in RV's, on his company website. You can check out the various categories on his site
here.
You would probably be best served by looking up the model numbers of the various items in your trailer and then searching for the manual for each item.
Good luck. :)

RE: Awing repair

Good morning Lyle,
I used this awning repair tape
on my trailers awning to repair a very similar ding. It held up for 7 years and was still going strong when I replaced the whole awning a couple of years ago.
I think any of the awning repair tapes will do the job.
Good luck. :)

RE: Eternabond over Dicor on PVC roof

I would go to Harbor Freight and purchase their $12.99 heat gun and carefully remove all the caulking where you wish to apply the Eternabond tape.
Next I would clean the roof where I want to apply the Eternabond tape very carefully following the directions given by Eternabond.
Only then would I apply the tape. I would not apply the tape right over the caulk as this will not allow the edges to attach properly and you could have leaks over time.
Good luck with your project. I did the whole roof penetrations and edges on my trailer and it was still attached firmly 17 years later when I had the whole roof redone and posted about it here.

RE: New couch ideas ???

We puarchased our leather recliner couch from Costco and a great recliner chair from Bradd and Hall located in Elkhart, IN. Neither one is the cheap quality stuff you get from many other outlets but high quality, comfortable, long lasting, good looking furniture.:)
