A bonus is one thing, total profit sharing is another animal entirely. Total profit sharing as you called for is a kin to communism. Everyone puts there hand in the pot, from skilled to unskilled. Not my cup of tea. Last comment on this from me, dont want to detract from the already detracted thread.

Simple solution, don’t take it! I’’m sure someone else will — and happy, lol.

If you believe in the company and want a piece of the pie it is easy to just buy some shares in the company and collect dividends. Keep buying your whole working life and diversify a bit and you should have a very nice retirement. That is the best form of profit sharing and you take advantage of all those loopholes through the company.

I have bern doing both.

Worked for those companies from the Democratic Socialist countries in Europe where union representatives have a seat at the table of the Board and where from CEO yo lowest ranked employees get profit sharing in cash bonus and/or shares.

I can’t understand why there will be people who won’t like that and scared of such system, lol.

My guess is that you were one of the people that benefitted from "free money" which really isn't free but that experience and self interest has blinded you to the fact that someone else had to give up their wealth to pay for your largess that you didn't actually earn. Everyone likes free money but that is the enemy of productivity which is the real creator of wealth.

Looks like the new model S and X are both using the heat pump and Octovalve heat pump and heat recovery system for climate control. Apparently someone found some correspondence that indicates both the Cybertruck and semi will use the same system. The octovalve apparently scavenges heat from the battery for additional efficiency. Those doing home tests are finding the range drop at minus 10 celcius is around 22 percent. That’s getting close to the range drop ice cars suffer in cold which is around 12 percent. Small but interesting evolution.

Also the new S and X are using the new chemistry 18650 cells whereas the semi and Cybertruck are supposed to use the new 4680 tabless cells.

The Cybertruck and semi seem to share a lot of the same tech. Just my observation.

Also noticed the Cybertruck and model S seem to have the yoke steering wheel. That is probably being driven by safety and forcing people away from the 10 o’clock 2 o’clock hand position as thirst was more dangerous with air bag operations. Less fractured wrists etc with hands on lower part of the wheel.

Interesting evolutions.

Well, to be brutally frank, unlike the perpetually on welfare people from the South, forever dependent on our taxes from the North and Coastal states, I never felt to have taken free money or mooney that I have not worked hard for, from the companies I served competently. Whether to my salary, bonus or stock bonus/options.

Unlike you, I won't. be accusing you or your relatives of being one of those with palms open for these free money even if you live among them.. Maybe, you are simply using and enjoying the roads. and parks built and maintained out of our tax money.

In case you are interested to know. Your citizens only paid $,7,767 taxes on. the average while got $11,358 each. So if you are so enraged against free money, you can send the difference of your $3,591 in your share of. free money to me and II will give you my address. Deall?

Yup, Tesla is in constant innovation.

Their new battery design is said to add structural integrity to the body of the vehicle.

This is what I hope happens as Tesla tries to solve Semi's range and re-charging turn around issues.

That's why I don't mind Semi being slightly ahead in development. [emoticon]

Some are speculating that the S plaid plus will have those but I kind of doubt it as it would change the assembly process. I don’t think they’ll sell a lot at 149,000 bucks, but of course lots of people have that kind of money.

I think the basic model S is a good price at 79,900. Still crazy fast at 3.1 sec zero to 60. I’m sure things will change between now and 2025 when we change out cars again but it’s on the radar for us.

Are you really crazy about these 0-60 thingy?

My experience with this is my son-in-law's Lamborgini Aventador at. 2.5 seconds that got me pasted on the seats at the starting line.

On Cybertruck, I'm only mildly interested of. having those to make those diesel trucks eating their. own dust when they try to do their rolling coal on me (as one did to my daughter at I-80 and her sweet revenge, lol).
