Hope everyone had a great Easter Day.
Today was one of those days, where you just want to get through the day and start over tomorrow, hoping things will go better. Lol.
I think I'll be able to get more work done on the drawers tomorrow.
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

By the way. I did manage to pick up a couple of wingnuts and bolts today in stainless steel to replace the screw in my gauge I made last week.

Over the years, and there have been many, I have made dozens of 'jigs' for projects and have them hanging all over the shop. Problem is, I have forgotten what some of them are/were for and how they were used. Your measuring jig, however, is obvious and can be used on many projects.

I made Spousal Unit start labeling all his jigs, so someone will know what they're for...
Now he's into labeling everything, so I had to get him his own label maker -- he was wearing mine out. I am glad he's doing that, though labeling the light switches did make me blink.

Thanks for the posts.
Today did not go much better than yesterday.
I will be so glad to move out of here and not have to mow grass anymore! Lol.
I did, however, get my screw replaced tonight with the stainless carriage bolt and wingnut, though.

One drawer in place, and the second just clamped there.
A few screws, a couple of shims, some glue, and it will be on to the next set. Now that the grass is mowed, I am hoping that will be tomorrow.

Today I got my second drawer in place with the slides, and a few screws. I had to shim the one side just a hair, and it's good to go. Slides easily in and out, and I haven't even added the wax yet.

After that I finished cutting the rest of the drawer parts for this section of the under counter drawers. On this section, there are 8 drawers. I had the sides cut, and today I cut the fronts and the backs for them.

Since I had not cut all of my pieces for the drawers, I had to finish them today. I don't know about you, but sometimes it can be a little tricky to get the second set of parts, exactly the same width as the first set.
Here is my procedure for making sure they end up the same.
I set he fence close to where I need it away from the saw blade, with the wood tight against the fence.
