Stopped by the rv shop to see how the repairs were going , turns out less work needed then orginally thought , but the front window on this camper isn't made anymore or can be made for a decent cost , but all new led lights are on and front cap going on

Installed some seals to block cold air entering the rear door, it will make a big difference especially when you have a back wind, there was quite a bit of air comming in. Going for winter camping soon and forecast is in the minus. filled the fresh water tank as it dawned on me that was the one thing I forgot to do after the last trip. I keep the rig stocked and fueled as one never knows when a big earthquake may hit or the sudden road trip urge may strike. Always be prepared for the unexpected.

Loaded camper back onto truck. I had to use the truck as a truck a few weeks ago so the camper came off (unusual) and got a chance to change the oil and wash the truck. 50°F today is very unusual for this time of year in northern Indiana, so taking advantage. Have to get ready for Christmas at the inlaws. Gotta have my own personal space... ![]() Better to Zig then Zag! Go To "MY PICTURES" My other Pictures and add a Comment! |

Brought truck/camper out of covered storage back to the house. Blew out the lines and added rv antifreeze to all drains. Plugged in and charged up batteries, threaded new jenson radio antenna on roof that must have been loose and lost on last trip. had lunch inside and listened to local sports channel planning next trip to daytona beach to visit dear old dad in january...Happy Holidays!!!

I lit the water heater and fired up the furnace ....to be used as a guest house during Christmas. I also scraped off the ice and snow that blew in under the RV port off the cover on the hood of the truck ... 23 degrees here today and windy. Winter is officially here this Friday! ![]() ![]() Dak 2018 GMC Denali "Extreme" and 23' EVO 2050T Travel Trailer Escapee member #224325-Since 1992 |
